Hello to all of you! Today I'm sharing my first christmas inspiration with you. I decided to make a special photo album for my mother-in-law and that is - EXPLODING BOX MINI ALBUM using the FROSTY SEASON collection. As she loves all the photos of her grandson, this will be such a special gift for her. I might prepare it for christmas or I can send it to her before christmas as a christmas "card" with surprise.

To be honest - I had a great tool which has helped me create this exploding box - Explosion Board from WeR Memory Keepers. It's such a time saver! I used 4 papers for the box (12 x 12, 11 x 11, 10 x 10 and 9 x 9) and one for the lid (6,5 x 6,5). With this you actually get a four layers in your exploding box and it gives you plenty of space for photos and journaling.

In your exploding box you can create some pockets, flip flops, leporelos or windows. I added a small box in the middle that can hold a few chocolate candies or another surprice. In pockets you can place a few photos at the same time of a tag with your journaling.

For me exploding boxes are perfect gift not only for Christmas, but for birthdays or weddings too. And there are unlimited possibilities how to decorate your box - stickers, chipboards, ribbons, laces ... Whatever you like. Have a great time!
