8inches layouts with Journal stories | Yukie Bessho

Hello Everyone!

Have you already tried Studio Forty's new collection; Jounal Stories?

Well, I have made 5 of 8x8 layouts today and want to share with you.

The first one has very simple and bold design. Our traditional costume
Kimono go very well with bold designs.
I have used transparent sticker, chipboard sticker, and the scrapbooking papers, also some travel note size papers. They are so clean and natural colors.
Love to challenge more layouts with more Kimono photos.

The spread of 8x8 inches are more energetic and fun layouts.
Yellows always does great job to enlighten the layouts.
I have used the super fun stiches stamps along with the real thread.
I hope I succeeded to cheat the stiches!
The banner stamp, I have added little bit of shadows, so that
it looks even more real.

When you visit a place like zoological parks, you tend to take a lot of photos.
The blocking layouts are the best way to consume the photos.... OOps,
Ahen,
the best way to turn the photos into art;)

Power smile I made with larger photo. Lots of journaling made them look a little more like jounals.

So I still had some photos from the same day, I went on cropping, these spread of 8x8 layouts are fun to me.
My little girl patted the guinea pig for the first time and she was
very much pleased. So I bought her a stuffed guinea pig as a sourvenir from the zoo. She was very impressed and the guinea pig became her very close friend.
Until now even after 8 years, it is on her book shelf. The only thing different is that the guinea pigs became twins. Not just one;)

The best part of scrapbooking sure is to keep the memories warm.
I really like spot lighting the past photos with crafty ideas.
I hope you liked the idea as much as I do.

Thank you very much for being with me till the end.

Stay safe, keep calm and scrap on!!

Journal Stories | Marivi

Hello again, I'm back with the Journal Stories collection.

Three small projects in the same notebook that I used in the previous post.

With several paper cuttings I have made a small pocket to place a label that I have cut out from the collection.

I have added small details, like some small stamp flowers.

Here I have encouraged myself with two photos, something that I don't usually do.

I have written a little on these pages and have combined different stickers and cutouts.

This precious paper deserves to be seen in style, which is why it has taken up the entire page.

On the page of the photo a transparent sticker that I have previously pasted and then cut out, I usually do this to paste it with volume.

With a few hearts and a couple of words I'm done.

I hope it inspires you and you like them.

See you soon!

JOURNAL STORIES PLANNER SPREAD

Hello everyone. Nicole here with a fun planner page spread! I just got my new planner and the Journal Stories Collection is perfect for decorating your planner spreads!

To begin, I placed a few stickers from the Journal Stories Collection randomly down on the spread. Then I colored the images in using alcohol markers.

I decorated the corner bottom corner of the spread with some more fun stickers. Love how pretty these Everyday stickers look, clustered together!

I placed the "weekend" clear sticker from the Joy Sticker set at the top and then stamped "celebrate" above it using a light pink ink pad.

Next, I used the Alphabet Stamp set to stamp "June" above the "celebrate" sentiment and then I colored it in using an alcohol marker. I added a few chipboard pieces from the Bom Dia collection and stamped the "reach for the stars" sentiment from the Space Travel  stamp set.

I cut the label from the patterned paper and then folded it in half and stapled it to the bottom left-side of the spread. Then I added the "happy" sticker dot that fits perfectly in the circle within the label. :)

As you can see...I have no plans yet for June. Honestly, with COVID-19 still lingering around, I'm not sure that I'll be doing much in June! :)

I used the Journal Stories Collection to create this layout of my sister and her dog. She is lucky to have such gorgeous views!! She's just living her best life in Colorado. :)

I used several travel notebook sheets of patterned paper to decorate the background. Then I matted the photos onto patterned paper.

I really like the stickers in this collection...both clear and white. I used my alcohol markers to color in the shapes and then I fussy cut the white space to use as embellishments on the layout.

I used the sticker strip from the Let's Party Collection and a few chipboards from the Don't Grow Up Collection. They totally worked on this layout with the patterns. I love how easy it is to mix the collections together!

Thank you so much for visiting today! Don't forget to check out the shop to see the Journal Stories Collection in full. It's beautiful and not only is it perfect for planner spreads, it's great for documenting your travel memories.

Welcome to the world/one sheet mini album/Andrea Gellai

Hello Studioforty  friends!

Today I’d like to show you a very simple one sheet mini album, for wich I used the Don’t Grow Up collection.I scored a 12x12 inch paper horizontally and vertically at every 3 inches, then I made cuts at 3 and 9 inches on one side and at 6 inch on the other.I folded the pages to an accordion and glued their edges to create little pockets in the album. With my Sizzix machine I cut some tags from the PL cards, put them in the pockets, then finally decorated the album with 3D stickers, chipboards and fuzzy cuts.

Thanks for stopping by here today and happy crafting!

Time to be happy | Bligu

Hej Wszystkim! Jak Wasze samopoczucie? Przyznam, że moje nieco przygasło w ostatnich tygodniach... Z tej twórczej niemocy skutecznie wyrwała mnie wyjątkowo radosna kolekcja LET'S PARTY! Przygotowałam z niej zabawnego scrapa oraz album z 8 urodzin mojej córki. Ogromna ilość różnych dodatków - stempli, naklejek, stempli, die-cutów oraz kart do PL (które zawsze tworzą zgraną kolekcję) pozwala stworzyć przestrzenną i bogatą w treści pracę. Choć nie tworzę albumów Project Life, karty do PL, będące stałym składnikiem kolekcji, należą do moich ulubionych elementów. Tym razem wykorzystałam wszystkie będące w zestawie, większość z nich zmieniając w die-cuty :)

Drugą prezentowaną dzisiaj pracą jest album z 8 urodzin mojej córki.

Ma on kilka tzw. "smaczków", niespodzianek w postaci dodatkowych skrzydełek ze zdjęciami...

... oraz ukrytym mini albumikiem w postaci harmonijki.

Pozdrawiam serdecznie i życzę nieustającej pogody ducha!
