MAGIC WINTER - Layout | Emanuela Cartincantevole

12x12 layout
Hi guys! How are you? Today I would like to tell you about my new inspiration made especially with a winter collection from Studio Forty, "Frosty season": it is a Layout in the 30 x 30 cm format. For this Layout I chose a photo with a slightly larger format: 9.5 x 12 cm. The predominant colours are cold, in harmony with the shades of the photo and the season... winter.
I will explain the various steps for its realisation. I chose sheet n. 4 as the base and glued a plain white cardboard 28.5 x 28.5 cm on top. I made some frame seams and another circular one (this one served as a template for making the crown).
At this point I prepared the embellishments: I cut out various winter flowers and leaves from sheet n.1; with two simple 'pine needles' die-cuts I obtained other embellishments using white card and sheet n. 3; others using the hot embossing technique and the 'Holiday cheer' stamps. Finally, I made several stamps using the 'Holiday cheer' stamps on sheet n. 5 from the 'Nordica' collection and then cut them out. Before placing the embellishments I made some stamps ("Holiday cheer" and "Winter mood") using blue, light blue and light green.

At this point I arranged the various embellishments in a circle, also using double-sided adhesive tape to give a more three-dimensional effect. After also positioning and embellishing the photo, I cut out a few letters from sheet n. 3 of the "Nordica" Collection to form the word "Magic" and finally stamped additional words relevant to the atmosphere created ("Fun & cozy" and "Holiday cheer"). A transparent sticker ("Frosty season - transparent stickers") on the photo and some light with the Frosty season dots and the layout is ready.

Here are the products used in detail:

A peaceful December to all, bye bye Emanuela

Winter Moments | Monika Pestrová

frosty season collection
Hello everyone!

First of all let me wish you a happy new year as we are still at the beginning of 2022. May this year be a bit better than the previous one. But today I want to look back to 2021. For my today's post I prepared two Traveler's Notebook pages. So let's have a look at them.

It's always a challenge for me to come up with some new TN layout so I often reach for Pinterest to search for some inspiration. And this time I found scrapbook page with lots of borders layed one over another. So I decided to try it.

So I took a different 6 x 6 papers and cut out some borders and used it at the top of the pages. It turned so great. After that I used a pocket card under my photo and some chipboards and stickers. At the bottom of the card I stamped "WINTER WISHES" and added a text.

The other page has slightly different colors - blue, green, grey and brown. This time I used TN papers and created background using two designs. And as I have left a few borders from the previous side I used them too.

As for the decorating I used some paper diecuts, chipboards and stamps. On the other side I used the words "COLD DAY" as a border and added some text under it.

Let's dive into your winter memories too! Have a great day.

Herbarium & Frosty Season Layouts | Nenascrap

frosty season collection

Hi Studio Forty Friends,
This is NenaScrap with you today and I'm very happy to see you again on the Studio Forty blog.
I start by wishing you a very happy new year 2022, I hope it will bring you happiness, health and a lot of beautiful creative projects with Studio Forty collections.
Today, I offer you 2 layouts with the Herbarium and Frosty Season collections.

For this 1st layout, I used Frosty Season 30.5 x 30.5 papers .
With dies, I cut out stars of several different sizes in the papers. For each star, with my folder, I marked a line at the center of each branch. This puts the star in volume.

I glued my stars from the biggest to the smallest on a white cardstock. I added pieces of printed paper under my photo and adhered it all with adhesive 3D foam to my page.

I added some Frosty Season chipboard stickers, chipboard frames and die-cuts.
For more contrast, I adhered my white cardstock to Frosty Season #2 paper and splashed on some silver ink.

For my 2nd layout, I created my background with the So Inspired stamp set.

I stamped different designs from the set with colored inks and words several times with a gray ink.
For a uniform pattern distribution, I drew a pencil grid on my white cardstock background beforehand and stamped in each square. At the end, I erased the pencil lines.

I tored a strip of paper #3 from Herbarium, glued it to the bottom of my background.
To add texture, I used a flower from the Herbarium light chipboard elements set and die-cuts.

I fussy cut labels from the paper #6 and added an Herbarium chipboard frame.

I hope you enjoy these layouts and that they inspire you. I can't wait to see you again with new creations.
Have a happy crafty day.

Hugs & kisses from France.

Pop up box- winter break I Papierowy Skrawek

frosty season

Witajcie w nowym roku!

Mój pop up box nazwałam "winter break", bo tak właśnie chciałabym spędzić swój zimowy urlop.

Pozdrawiam!

Kaha

Two projects with Frosty Season
| Guest Designer Nuria Sanz |

frosty season collection
Hello everyone! How are you doing? It's Nuria @piruletasdepapel today and I am so excited to share my first projects as a guest designer for Studio Forty!

All of them are created with the Frosty Season Collection. I adore how versatile this collection is with all different formats!

I absolutely fell in love with the traveller notebook, so I decided to document my December using this format for the first time and...it is so easy going! I am going to show you the first 3 pages.

When documenting December I like to start with an introduction, commenting plans about to happen, concerns and hopes. In this case, I played with the different sizes of the paper sets: the journaling is hidden behind the beautiful notebook patterned paper. And in the next page I used 7,5*15cm patterned paper and a journaling card. I added dots and chipboard stickers as embellishments.

1st of December. I've used a large B/W photo on one page and, again, playing with notebook and 7,5*15cm patterned paper sizes on the other one. Some embellishments here and there (chipboard frames) and a journaling card with a clear sticker on for the journaling. Guess where is it?

One of my faves pages, and I repeat it all years, is the one showing the four of us (my family). It is so fun to see how we look like before! Today I have used pocket pages but cutting the ones I need for creating two interactive pieces. I've stamped the whole page with these beautiful clear stamps and added a flip-up journaling card hiding the journaling.

I also want to show you a layout. The story is about nature and fall: the beauty of trees and multicolored leaves on the ground.

Thanks for stopping by and... Merry Christmas!
Nuria
