December Daily/Nicole Martel

Happy Monday! I have a few fun travel notebook spreads I created into a fun December Daily Book. This was a challenge for me...but I think I made it work! I don't have too many pictures to create a December Daily because I've never created a December Daily mini. I have such a hard time scrapbooking holiday photos! I went through my photo albums and selected a few photos that would work for this month's theme.

I used lots of pretty papers, stickers, chipboard and journaling cards from the Nordica Collection. Love this collection. It's so pretty!

Totally loving the chipboard and sticker dots! They are so pretty clustered together on the photo.

For this layout, I went with the softer color palette. That floral print is lovely! I used a lace metal die to create the border at the top. And added a few chipboard pieces and clear stickers to pull the layout together.

Lucky for me, Edward loves to decorate the Christmas Tree...me, not so much! But, I do love putting the presents underneath the tree for him. The presents look so pretty at night with Christmas lights on. I'm looking forward to having a tree this year. For the past two years, we have not had a tree since we went on a family vacation during the Christmas break. :)

I added the "favorite time" clear sticker onto the chipboard above the top photo and added the clear string of lights stickers across the middle of the layout. So cute!

This spread was so much fun... I love how this looks in just black and white. Something different...

I stamped the "happy MEMORIES" sentiment on the left side of the spread and then I stamped some snowflakes.

Scrapbook Layout made with COSY TIME Collection | Nikki Kehr

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here with a new Scrapbook Layout I´ve made with the georges new Cosy Time Collection. The collection reflects so much comfort and invites you to process the photos from the last few weeks. The garden is made winter-proof, the last vegetables grown are harvested and you can enjoy a good book with a hot chocolate. Do you also feel this just before winter?

I used paper No. 04 for the background. I built the layout with the papers No. 03 and No. 05. The layout is decorated with a pocket and two cards made of paper No. 06. Finally I used the stickers "so good", "little moments" and "cozy time".

For the bag there was a self-made shaker card that I sewn together from vellum and stamped with the stamp set "homemade" on it. I closed the filling opening with the paper strips "cosy time".
There were also matching stamps "sweet memories" for the finishing touches.

I hope you like this Scrapbook Layout and are inspired to create your own one. Let me know in the comments bellow if you had any questions and don´t forget to share your projects with the amazing products from Studio Forty.

See you soon
XO

Nikki

Zimowe opowiastki | Scrapczak

09:00 0 Comments

Teraz ozdobiłam je stemplowanymi płatkami śniegu i gałązkami w odpowiednich kolorach. Wybrałam kilka zdjęć z grudnia sprzed dwóch lat, kiedy to mój synek widział pierwszy i ostatni śnieg w swoim życiu.

Karta do grudniowego albumu to skrawek mojej/naszej codzienności z ubiegłego roku.

Ostatnia przygotowana przeze mnie praca to świąteczna kartka.

Do przygotowania prac użyłam:

Pozdrawiam Was! Scrapczak

Advent Calendars' Tags | Monika Pestrová

Hello December! And hello to all of you! Advent is here so today I will show you tags I prepared for my son's advent calendar. I used the mini collection WINTER FUN and I really enjoyed making these tags. Let's have a look at them.

I used natural cardstock and cut 24 tags on my Big Shot as basics. Than I decided to decor a bunch of tags with the same motiv. So I made six groups of four tags and started to decorate them. Mostly I used 6 x 8 papers, project life card and 3D embelishments.

For this tags I used velum with snowflakes as a backgroung and added white thread and some elements I cut from project cards. I didn't realy need the numbers on them as I stamped my own on a small white circle.

For other tags I cut small parts on the top from one of the papers and embossed snowflake with white embossing powder. I added velum snowflake and picture. I added liquid enamel dots on all tags and put ribbon in the hole.

And another tags ... I chose white circle as a background. Then I added silver modeling paste over a stencil and let dry. Finally I added string and picture, velum snowflake and a number.

Next tags are really cute - with trees, houses and a white rabbit from one of the papers. And on the top i s paper with grey stars.

And last tags ... On the first of them I used white and light turquois stripes from one of papers and these cute presents. And lastly - I glued cut piece from one of the papers on the top, added a stripe stickers and againg a piece of thread and cut elements.

So this part is done. Next - I will sew a fabric bags and attached these tags on them. Thanks for being here with me today. Have a great weekend and don't forget to light the first candle on Sunday.

Sweet Winter Projects | NenaScrap

 Hello everyone,

It's NenaScrap with you today!

With the cold coming on and the night falling fast, do you also feel like wrapping yourself in a nice plaid with a good tea?

It's also a good time for scrapbooking with the sweet Nordica and Winter Fun collections.

I made some greetings cards with a mix of the 2 collections.

These cards hide a surprise at the opening. They are in 3D.

I fussy cut some patterns from the Winter Fun papers to create volume scenes.
The Christmas ornaments are cut out and glued back to back on a nylon thread.
So they seem to hang in the air.

Here, I have created a mountain village with skiers, fir trees and small houses, always playing with volumes.

For the 3rd one, I created a Christmas scene with the little gifts and the illustration of the girl decorating the Christmas tree.

These 3D cards were inspired by Elsie Robinson's ones.

You can see the process video on my You Tube channel :

Nordica and Winter Fun inspired me another project talking about a winter travel in NYC.

I used Winter Fun paper pad and one Nordica paper in wich I cut out the letters NYC with dies. I then made a shaker box filled with the glitter you see in the letters.

I used the Simple Alpha Stamp set to write "HELLO".

I placed several labels under each paper and stamped my background with Woodland stamps.

I used glitter paper with dies to remind the glitter and 3D stickers to add texture.

I hope that this creations will inspire you and make you want to scrapbook these beautiful winter collections.

Stay safe. See you soon.
