Road Trip with Here & There | Jen McMurtrey

Hello Studio Forty friends!

It's Jen today with a travelers notebook project using the fantastic Here & There Collection to record a recent road trip.
Here's a look at the first of two spreads documenting our nearly 500-mile whirlwind trip.

To create the backgrounds for each side of the project, I used the All Time Fave and Happy Plants stamp sets indicating when we left in the morning and returned that same evening.

The left side features a 3 x 4-inch photo I took while we drove across Snoqualmie Pass. It is backed with patterned paper from the Here & There Notebook Edition and embellished with a floral die cut and Best Summer Color Sticker.

Next, I printed a large photo that is folded in half and machine-stitched to the page, which is backed with the Here & There 06 patterned paper.

Atop the large photo, I added a smaller picture of my husband from inside IKEA and embellished it using another die cut, Best Summer Color Sticker, and chipboard sticker.

On the following page, the large photo continues along with another from our trip home.

I kept this simple with a journaling card and chipboard sticker.

Last, is another 3 x 4-inch photo backed with the same patterned paper as the previous page. This was embellished with a Go Outside Transparent Sticker, die cut, and color sticker.

I love that our fun day was easy to document with the Here & There collection and look forward to recording more of our summer memories. Be sure to visit the Studio Forty site to grab these goodies, as well as others, while supplies last. Remember to use code JENNIFER10 at checkout to receive 10% off your entire order.

Layouts with HERE&THERE | Marivi

It's been a while since I've made layouts, so today I'm giving it twice. For both I've used the new HERE&THERE collection.

For both I have opted for diagonal designs.
Here I have created different shapes with dies, for the photo and the paper.

In one corner I have sewn a couple of overlapping papers and also diagonally I have sewn the paper in zig zag as an ornament.
With stamps and different ornaments I have completed the design.

For this I have used project life cards, which I love to use for all kinds of projects, not only for PL.

In the upper part I have sewn a couple of strips of paper, one smaller than folded in a corner, to create different volumes.

I have sewn the cards together with the photo diagonally and I have added different stickers and decorations.
Here with a colored pencil, I have drawn some simple stars, as painted by a child.

In the photo above you can see more detail of the sewn part and the stickers, chipboards, stamps...

I hope you like them and inspire you for your projects.
See you soon!

Greeting cards in full of colors! | Yukie Bessho

Hello there, Studio forty fans!
Have you already made something with the latest collection Here and there?
The warm cheerful colors are just beautiful, don’t you agree with me?

Today I would like to share some ideas using Here and there collection .

Cards!
Starting with a shaker

Shaker cards are always people ‘s favorite. I just can’t resist making happy little noise sometimes !

The lovely plant stamps are cute! I colored them with water soluble crayons.
The circle stickers are great! I want to try them with my artist trading cards, too!

***

Second project inspired by Japanese traditional design pattern : shippotsunagi.
Make a lot of circles, and fold in half, then line them up alternatingly.
I might try the pattern again in my layouts, too!

+++

So the last one is a very simple and small card.

3.5x3.5 in size. Perfect for a gift cards.
I did stencil with small circles, then traced some circles with my journaling pen.
The enamels are doing great job!
Make it in ten mins!

See the entire collection of Here and There →Click here

Ok so that’s all for today. Hope you liked my cards!

Thank you for staying with me till the end. See you next time!!!

xo Yukie

2 layout - Marseille 2019 | Jenn

09:00 0 Comments

Good morning!

I made two layouts, one following the sketch found below and one in "freestyle"

I had not yet used these photos taken in Marseille in 2019! My last vacation at home pre-covid! and finally after all these years, it's back to France this summer!

For the sketch layout, I used photos of the Calanques, a beautiful place where the water is crystal clear and the beach tiny! You have to get there on foot or only if you are a resident!

For the second layout instead, I used a photo of Marseille and added elements from the collection.
This collection lends itself to any kind of travel, it's great!
It goes well with the mountains or the sea!

Here are a few details for each page!

See you soon!

Jenn

Simple cards | Magdalena - papierowy cekin

Witajcie!
Tworzycie czasem kartki na podstawie mapek ? Ja postanowiłam swoich sił i zmierzyć się z mapkami. Zobaczcie jakie powstały kartki.

Swoje kartki zrobiłam na podstawie pierwszych trzech mapek . A wszystkie kartki powstały z najnowszej kolekcji HERE & THERE.

A okrągły stempel wycięłam wykrojnikiem z jednej karty Journalingu. Kompozycje uzupełniam o przezroczysta naklejkę z kolekcji oraz Kolorowymi dotsami.

Kolejna kartka to wakacyjna propozycja utrzymana w lekko różowej kolorystyce .

Ostatnia propozycja to cytrynowa lemoniada. Z fajnym motywacyjnym przesłaniem jeśli życie daje ci same cytryny zrób z nich lemoniadę.

Mam nadzieję , że zainspirowałam Was do zabawy z mapkami.

Pozdrawiam,
Magda

Summer cards | Magda Łuczak Art

Hej kochani!
Zrobiłam dziś dla Was trzy kartki w letnim klimacie.

Rozetki ozdobione zostały napisami z zestawu kolorowych naklejek Best Summer.

Rozgwiazda, trampki, kubek z lemoniadą, kula ziemska, truskawki i listy z wakacji pełnią tu niemałą rolę. To wszystko co wymieniłam to są die-cutsy z zestawu HERE&THERE.

Magda
