November Mood Board

Hello friends! Nicole here with a beautiful Mood Board I created for the month of November. This mood board goes perfectly with the Herbarium Collection! Here is what I created using the Mood Board as inspiration! I was really inspired by the brick wall, color scheme and florals.

I really love the color scheme and textures of this mood board! To begin, I created bricks for the background of my layout using a sand color ink, brick stencil and a blending brush!

Next, I used a the tip of a tiny paint brush to dip inside of spray ink and then I tapped the ink all over the paper.

Next, I stamped a few notebook page images onto the layout after I figured out where I would like to place the photos.

I colored a scrap pieced of white cardstock using an alcohol marker and then stamped the vase image onto the paper and then fussy cut the image out using scissors to use a die cut for the layout.

To complete the layout, I added some journaling cards and chipboard! Super simple and so much fun! I love getting creative with stamps! You can do all kinds of things and they really add so much interest to my projects.

For my next project, I created a few mixed media cards using the same stamps! I really like how the Kraft paper looks with the blended colors!

To begin, I cut the kraft cardstock to measure 6"x8" and scored it in half to create the card. Then I used ink and a blending brush to add a bit of color.
