I documented a trip to the climbing park and filled it with patterned papers, chipboards and stickers.

Hello you all crafters out there,

it is me again, Stephanie, and as usuall it is time for an other quick layout i made for you.

My husband and i, we are remodelling an old house at the moment, almost all by our selfes
and so there is not much time for beeing outside this year...

So i have to reminisce about the hiking trips we made earlier this year...

For example when my husband tried to pipe the grass like when we were kids...

Witajcie! Na dziś przygotowałam dwa layouty z wakacyjnych jazd konnych mojej córki. Karolina na koniach spędziła większość wakacji, spotkała tam też nową końską miłość.
W obydwu pracach użyłam papierów z kolekcji GOOD VIBES oraz dedykowanych im dodatków.

Nowy konik, który pojawił się właśnie w wakacje w naszej stajni, okazał się nową miłością Karoliny. Tęczowy arkusz papieru Over the rainbow wydaję się być idealny na tę okazję.

Letni klimat zdjęcia podkreśliłam papierami z bloczku 15x15 oraz kwiatami wyciętymi z arkusza In my garden. Tytuł pracy wykonałam dwoma rodzajami stemplowanego alfabetu - Alphabet brush Big letters oraz Lucie. Duże litery stemplowałam na białym kartonie, a następnie wycięłam nożyczkami, natomiast małe bezpośrednio na karcie.

Drugi layout powstał na bazie arkusza On the go, również z dodatkiem papierów z bloczka 15x15. Opowiada on o czerpaniu przyjemności z życia, a dla Karoliny oczywiście największą przyjemnością są właśnie konie.

Tę pracę starałam się utrzymać w monochromatycznym klimacie szarości połączonej z zielenią. Zieleń ze zdjęcia podkreśliłam papierem w listki oraz zielonym badzikiem.

W pracach wykorzystałam:

Hello everyone,

It’s Jana again. I hope you all had brilliant summer with lots and lots of nice pictures to scrap. I have TONS. Now comes the time to relive the moments and put it all in the albums and minialbums.

This time I worked with the beautiful summery collection Let’s go. It has the vacation feel, doesn’t it? The first layout I am going to show you is a Project Life spread. Well, it has a pocket look but it is actually cards of papers and photos glued on big 12x12 white cardstock.

In my PL album I love to break up the pocket structure a bit and from time to time I challenge myself to do a big layout. And on the other side of the layout I do a classical PL spread with the difference that there are no pockets and everything is just glued directly on the card stock and placed in a 12x12 page protectore.

I love doing these spreads. You can create any composition you wish, the embellishments and cards can be overlapping and it all comes together to make a nice change.

As you can see, I used four different designs of paper – the watery blue ones and to break it up a bit, one with green leaves and one with pink stains.

I love wood veneer!

And the word stickers are just great. You just need to be quite gentle and patient when peeling it off but it is so worth it!

The other project is a mini layout in my “Friends” Traveller's Notebook. This is my Design team colleague and friend. The layout itself is super simple. I chose this pattern paper only because these are the colours I associate my friend with.

With my usual summer holiday notebook I decided to think out of the box and created... no notebook at all!

I wanted my album to be 'all-in-one': a combination of handwritten diary pages, pages with with watercolor paintings and – of course – scrapbook pages with photos. I used different papers for the three different categories. When all pages are finished I will decide about their ultimate order and bind them.

My album is a little bit wider than a traveler’s notebook, but for the scrapbook part the papers from the notebook edition from studio forty did fit nevertheless, as you can see here with this sketch:

Normally I dye the chipboards with watercolor, like this one on the first page.

For the second page I wanted to have black chipboards – deep black, not watercolor black. So I tried to color the chipboards with a marker – so simple!
