Here & Now | Jen McMurtrey

 Hello friends!

It's Jen with another layout using the gorgeous Studio Forty Herbarium collection. I have been so excited to begin documenting my youngest daughter's senior photos, and today I am sharing the first.

On the right side of the layout, I layered a piece of the Herbarium 01 patterned paper over white cardstock. Next, I used Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide Inks to add color to the white background. Next, I used Stamp Set #146 to add florals on the left side of where I knew the photo would sit.

I love the delicate prints, and the colors of the collection match the photo perfectly.

To embellish the project further, I layered chipboard sticker frames on the right side of the photo to mimic the windows in the picture.

Inside the frames, I added a few more chipboard stickers and a stamped die cut banner across the top.

I absolutely love the frames stacked on top of the photo!

Next up is a card using a stamp from the Herbarium Collection. I love creating unique patterns with stamps, which is what I did here. After stamping each of the images, I colored them with Spectrum Noir and Nuvo pens before adding a die cut sentiment.

I love that I was able to create such a cute card by simply using one stamp and some pens. The possibilites are endless!

Thank you for stopping by today! A complete list of the products I used with links to the Studio Forty Shop follow.
