Hello paper lovers! The last of the new DT members is here. My name is Mirka and I've been scrapbooking since 2017. I like to make large pages in 12*12 and 9*12 inch format, minialbums and cards that I give to all my friends and family. Today I would like to show you layout inspiration from the Vintage Glow collection. I hope you like this romantic collection as much as I do.


These stamps and this paper are in the main role. I cut individual wooden boards out of paper and made them into book shelves. Each shelf is glued with foam tape to achieve a 3D effect. I hung the shelves using string and brads on the paper to look like real shelves hung on the wall.


I stamped a lot of books and also a flower, a candle and a mug on the white paper. I carefully cut out everything with small scissors and straightened it on the shelves. In the bottom part, I pasted a photo of my daughter reading a book and framed a few roses.


I also added stickers to the page. I especially like the transparent stickers, which can be used to make such a nice decoration as this vase with a flower.


Finally, I added 3D dots in different colors to the page and stamped a few phrases in the free spaces.


I like a clean and simple style, so this decoration was enough for my page, but if you want to make a similar page and you like rich decoration, the shelves can be decorated much more.

KARTKA GLOW | Marta - Paper street co.

Hello, 
Jesień przywędrowała dość późno w tym roku. Uwielbiam te długie wieczory, kiedy można z gorącą herbatą usiąść i w spokoju stworzyć choć prostą kartkę. 
Wciąż zachwycam się nową kolekcją Vintage Glow. Tym razem postanowiłam pokazać ją w trochę innym świetle:


Pamiątka stworzona na 30 urodziny, więc chciałam, żeby było nowocześnie, wesoło i aby trochę się działo. Użyłam jednego arkusza z motywem gazety oraz drugą stronę pochlapaną farbą. 


Całość dopełniłam emaliowanymi dotsami oraz elementem z arkusza naklejek. Jak pewnie zobaczycie w następnych wpisach - w dotsach jestem kompletnie zakochana. Tych kropek używam w niemalże każdej mojej pracy, są one w stanie dopełnić każdą kompozycję. 



Vintage Glow jest tak stworzona, że można wykorzystać ją w pracach nie tylko romantycznych, ale też prostych, szalonych i z charakterem.
Uwolnijcie swoją kreatywność, bo przez najbliższe dwa miesiące wieczory zapowiadają się bardzo długie ;)

FAVORITES MEMORY KEEPSAKES ALBUM/NICOLE

Good morning friends. I'm excited to share this adorable memory keepsakes album I created using the Vintage Glow collection. This collection is so pretty... I just love the soft colors and the flowers!! Lots of beautiful flowers and camera/books. It's so lovely.


This little book took me a few hours to create, but it was so worth it... There's so many goodies inside... stroll along and let me share some fun ideas with you! You're gonna want to make one for yourself. Just wait...


To begin, I used a few metal dies to cut my pages into book pages, envelopes and, pockets. I used a metal tag die to cut some of the elements from the cut apart sheet. Last year, I decided to invest in some dies I know I will use! It has helped me be more creative!
I used strong tape to bond two pages leaving part of the papers un-bonded to create a pocket for hidden treasures. I used a few edger dies to create pockets using the mini pages.


Seriously, isn't this beautiful? Lots of pockets and hidden elements makes my heart happy. This would be a perfect little memory keeping book to document your wedding memories or any other special event.



Here's a page where I used a metal tag die to cut out the image from the cut apart sheet and then I mounted it on the page using foam squares to add dimension and added the ribbon. I left the left-side alone so I can add a photo later... I may end up gifting this!


I used the ledger part of the journaling cards to add the sticker, sticker dots, and abstract stamping. The flowers were fussy cut from patterned paper.

I made sure to add a few journaling pages since this is a memory keepsakes album...there should be plenty of space to share the story!


I love how pretty this pocket page looks with the floral print and pink brick background. It's so feminine and beautiful.


I had this pink ribbon in my stash from a packaging I received and thought it would come in handy...never throw those bows out... they do in fact, come in handy. I tied mine around one of the pages and tucked in a 3x3 envelope I made using a metal die and pretty floral paper.


I added the "Happy Days" sticker to the flap.


Love how these papers are double sided... It makes the envelope pop even more inside.


Here are a few more pages with some die cuts and tags added.

I love the little butterflies on one of the die cut sheets (inside the globe)! I used scissors to carefully cut those little guys and added some stamping at the corner of this page and glued them down. I could used an entire sheet of butterfly stickers similar to these. They are so cute!


Here is a little grid of stamped images so you get an idea of how I included stamping throughout the album.
More pages and tags. I ended up making more pages than I initially planned, but I was having so much fun making this little gem...I didn't want to stop.



I used the "today" transparent sticker at the top and bottom adding a few more flowers I fussy cut from paper.





I used a scalloped border to create a fun backing for the album. :)

Hi guys!!! Here I am with you again to show you my second project made with the VINTAGE GLOW collection.


The layout format is a classic 30 x 30. As a base I chose a white bazzil and on this I glued both at the top and at the bottom two strips cut out from sheet 06 VINTAGE GLOW.


Following the wavy pattern of the sheet's graphics, I created seams that act as an inner frame.


In the center of the page I placed the photo with all the embellishments.


I chose to embellish both below the photo and above by creating overlays in both cases to give a greater three-dimensional effect. To embellish I used both die cuts but also stamps.

50th birthday tag album | Magda Łuczak Art

Hej kochani! Czas biegnie, znów kolejny rok na karku, ale tym razem to nie byle jaki rok, bo już pięćdziesiąty! Z tej okazji postanowiłam stworzyć takie miejsce, gdzie umieszczę zdjęcia z dwóch małych imprez oraz ważne pamiątki.


Tak powstał mały album tagowy na bazie kolekcji Vintage Glow ze złotymi dodatkami. Nie przepadam za złotem, ale ta kolekcja sama się prosi, żeby choć trochę go użyć.


Oczywiście, nie mogłam się powstrzymać i trochę czarnych elementów dodałam...



Użyłam chyba wszystkie papiery z zestawu,  a prawie każdy tag ozdobiłam przezroczystymi naklejkami z definicjami. Są urocze, zarówno te polskie, jak i angielskie!




Ten mały album to nie tylko zdjęcia. Małe koperty skrywają kartki z dobrymi słowami od przyjaciółek. Miło się będzie czytało te zdania na starość ;) Koperty ozdobiłam wyciętymi elementami z papierów 07 i 08 oraz oczywiście ulubionymi enamel dotsami!



Taki album nie zajmie dużo miejsca, a za kilka lat sprawi mi na pewno wiele radości. Ciekawa jestem, czy i Wy macie takie pamiątki z urodzin?
