Winter Wonderland/Nicole Martel

Hello everyone. I'm sharing a fun layout I created using the Frosty Collection. For this layout, my main goal was to just play with all of the beautiful embellishments! I am a lover of embellishments! Especially, the frames.... Ah, they are so fun!

I clustered the frames at the top and bottom of the layout to fill in the white space. Then I added a few shipboard stars, hearts and clear sticker words.

I layered a few journaling cards behind the photo to create a fun frame. I love layers... and I think it adds so much to the design of the layout.

I added some stickers here and there, too. The snowman was fussy cut from the journaling card. I used foam squares to mount him onto the layout.

For my second project, I created a card using the Frosty Collection. To begin, I cut a piece of the snowflake patterned paper to measure 6x8 and then scored the paper in half to create at 3x4 card.

Next, I layered two chipboard frames together. Then, I added the clear "winter wonderland" sticker below the chipboard.

I glued a few gems. and added the chipboard snowflake at the top right-side of the frame.

I placed the cocoa mug sticker onto white cardstock and then fussy cut it using scissors. Next, I colored in the image using alcohol markers and added it within the frame using foam squares to add dimension.

To complete the card, I stamped the bow onto white cardstock, colored it in using markers and then fussy cut the image out to add a bow within the frame. I added the holly clear sticker at the top to fill in the white space.

I had so much fun creating this card! It turned out much better than I initially had in mind. Love when that happens!

Since I was in the mood... I made a few more cards using the Hebarium Collection! Super pretty, too! To begin, I cut white cardstock to measure 8"x6" and then scored the cardstock in the middle to create the card. Next, I cut the pretty floral paper slightly smaller than 2 3/4"x 3 3/4" to create a nice mat for the card.

Next, I used fabric glue to adhere the lace to the card.

I fussy cut the leaf and flower from patterned paper. I decided not to use the flower at the last minute.

I glued the chipboard and leaf to the card and then added some chipboard here and there.

The butterflies were punched out of patterned paper using my butterfly punch.

What do you think? Which embellishments is your favorite? I love them all... If you haven't seen the entire Frosty Season Collection and Herbarium, click here to check it out! Thanks so much for visiting today!
