WHAT A DAY layout | NenaScrap

Hi Studio Forty friends !

It's NenaScrap with you today and I propose you to use Herbarium differently.
When I saw this beautiful collection, I immediately thought of combining it with wedding photos.
And trust me, it works great !!!

I took a white cardstock as my background and started by stamping different designs from the Note To Self stamp set with grey Versafine ink. With each stamping, I changed the direction of the design for more variety.

With my watercolors, I added splashes in the colors of the collection on the different designs.
To finish this background, I stamped several words from the So Inspired stamp set.

I fussy cut some elements from the Junk Journal paper , I stamped and embossed with gold powder a stamp from the So Inspired stamp set.
I assembled my elements into a cluster near my photo and chose a chipboard from the Herbarium frames chipboard stickers set .

I added a die-cut and a fussy cut butterfly to the top of my page and some gold Gilding Flakes.
To finish, I glued my background to the Slow & Simple paper .

I really have fun using Herbarium for this wedding theme. Don't hesitate and dare to do new things with your Studio Forty products, they fit so many themes !

I also wanted to show you a second project, this time with the Frosty Season collection.

I created a shaker card with the Frosty Season 15x15 paper pad .
I used a die to cut out several circles from pieces of cardboard.
I superimposed and glued the pieces of cardboard to have a thickness.
Then, I cut the same circle in a paper from the Frosty Season Paper Pad, added a piece of acetate and glued it in my cardboard.
I added sequins in this window and glued it in a piece of cardstock stamped with the Winter Mood stamp set.

I chose some Frosty Season die-cut and fussy cut elements from the paper pad.
I added a piece of silk paper under a chipboard sticker

I don't know about you, but I really like to prepare my Christmas cards to be ready in time !

I hope you will like these projects and I can't wait to share new projects with you.
Have a happy crafty day.
XOXO
