BIRTHDAY LAYOUTS | Monika Pestrová

Hello crafters! It's Monika here today and I'm so excited, because I finally had a chance to lay my hands on the new HERE & THERE collection. Yay! And I bring you two birthday layouts of my niece and nephew. And you can make your own layouts, as I followed a sketch (you'll find it at the end of the artickle). 

Spring is always crowded in our family, because there are two birthday celebrations. One is at march and the other one at april. So let's dive in.

First layout is a boyish one. The great thing about new HERE & THERE collection is that you can use it for both - boys and girls. I used large papers from the 12 x 12 paper set to cut out the circles and then tear the stripes. At the background I stitched a few stars with white threat. 

To finish the layout I add some stamps - a few arrows from the ARROWS & STRINGS stamp set and "BE HAPPY" sign from HAPPY PLANTS stamp set. Zhan I used "STAY COOL" round sticker from BEST SUMMER sticker set, and stars from HERE & THERE chipboard set and BE READY transparent stickers. There are some flitters too.

The second layout breathes with summer. My niece had a hawaii birthday party and it was so cute. Again I used 2 photos and some circles as I'm compliant with the sketch. But I wanted to try something else too. This time I used small papers from the HERE & THERE notebook edition (except the upper stripe). This time I added many monstera leaf die cuts to capture the tropical spirit.

At the background I sprinkle some color splashes and then started to arrange photos, circles and monstera leaves. To add some final touches I use HERE & THERE chipboard stickers and the same stamp sets as with the first layout.
