Road Trip with Here & There | Jen McMurtrey
Hello Studio Forty friends!
It's Jen today with a travelers notebook project using the fantastic Here & There Collection to record a recent road trip.
Here's a look at the first of two spreads documenting our nearly 500-mile whirlwind trip.
To create the backgrounds for each side of the project, I used the All Time Fave and Happy Plants stamp sets indicating when we left in the morning and returned that same evening.
The left side features a 3 x 4-inch photo I took while we drove across Snoqualmie Pass. It is backed with patterned paper from the Here & There Notebook Edition and embellished with a floral die cut and Best Summer Color Sticker.
Next, I printed a large photo that is folded in half and machine-stitched to the page, which is backed with the Here & There 06 patterned paper.
Atop the large photo, I added a smaller picture of my husband from inside IKEA and embellished it using another die cut, Best Summer Color Sticker, and chipboard sticker.
On the following page, the large photo continues along with another from our trip home.
I kept this simple with a journaling card and chipboard sticker.
Last, is another 3 x 4-inch photo backed with the same patterned paper as the previous page. This was embellished with a Go Outside Transparent Sticker, die cut, and color sticker.
I love that our fun day was easy to document with the Here & There collection and look forward to recording more of our summer memories.
