Everyday Me | Jen McMurtrey

Hello Studio 40 friends!

It's Jen today with a layout using the Everyday Story Collection and stamps from Herbarium. Here's a look at what I created.

I feel that we often spend so much time documenting our families that we forget to create projects about ourselves. Our stories are equally important and should be recorded.

This layout was super easy to create using Studio Forty's amazing stamps and a hexagon punch.

First, I used the On My Desk Stamp Set, Hello Beautiful Stamp Set, and Note to Self Stamp Set to create what looks like a bookshelf behind the photo.

After adding the hexagons, I backed the photo with a brown paper bag and adhered it to the background.

I created the title using my Silhouette Cameo with a patterned paper from the Everyday Story Collection.

Last, I used several Everyday Story - Transparent Stickers on the hexagons to add more color and interest and a few of the green Everyday Story - 3D stickers.

Next up is a card using the same stamping pattern as above - I really love those books!

After stamping the images and sentiment, I colored them with Copic markers in muted colors. Next, I fussy cut the plants from patterned paper and adhered them with foam squares. Last, I added a few of the 3D stickers.

I really love how this card turned out and can't wait to make more using those book stamps!
