Bloom Mixed Media Layout/Nicole Martel
Hello friends! Who's ready for Spring? I'm looking forward to seeing my beautiful flowers bloom. They make me so happy!
The Everyday Story collection has a variety of patterns and sentiments to scrapbook those spring photos! I used the daisy floral paper for the background and matted the florals with the green patterned paper to create a nice border for the layout.
I inked the "Bloom" sentiment and cut the die out using my Sizzix to pull in the pink... Then, I stamped the "Little Stories" sentiment from the So Inspired Stamp Set within the label. I used a chipboard frame to highlight one of the photos.
I used the same stamp set to create the heart using pink ink. Next, I added a puffy heart to the center to add dimension. I hand-cut the bumble bee and "Good Life" sentiment from the Herbarium Travel Notebook Paper. The clear rainbow sticker from the Let's Create Sticker sheet was place directly over the photo for fun.
I cut the pink florals from patterned paper to use as die cuts for the layout.
For my second project, I decided to create a card using some papers and journaling cards from the Everyday Story Collection. The plant was cut from a sheet of patterned paper.
I hand-cut the "Happiness" sentiment from a sheet of travel Notebook paper from the Herbarium collection and used scissors to create the banner ends. Then, I used foam squares to pop it off the card for added dimension.
Thank you so much for visiting today! Be sure to check out the Everyday Story collection in the shop and we still have the Herbarium collection available...another favorite collection of mine.
