2 Layouts ,same paper, same stamp | Marivi

Here&There

Today the protagonist is one of the papers of the collection, I have used it in both layouts.
The photos are from winter, I had them unedited since January, so same day same paper...

This LO is 11x8.5 in, with some dies I have cut different squares to place them around the photo, and then add different decorations.

With some stamps I have placed several words and the date around it.

I have also added a round sticker. And a chipboard along with the word relax.

Here the photo occupies one of the pages and in the other the same role as in the previous one, which is also the protagonist.

With the same seal I have also decorated here and I have written some sentences.

I have stuck a sticker with a phrase and a chipboard heart.

Same paper and stamps, but different result.
I hope you like it, see you soon!

Can you tell what they are? 2 layouts with Here and These.

Hello Studio Forty fans!
How are you doing at your end?
Hope you are finding some time to be crafty!

Today I would like to share my first 2 layouts with Here and There collection!
Both with the same sketch.

I just received the package from Poland with this amazing Here and There collection and made the layouts immediately.

Very simple but yet so lovely and gorgeous.

These berry pattern papers are so gorgeous!  I have added some berries and flower motif chipboard stickers, along with enamels!

Gorgeous color combination!

Only the photo pops out with foam stickers.

So this is the 2nd layout. As you can see, based on the same sketch!

I just added some imaginary sea creatures? aliens? What ever they are!

If you look at them up side down, you will notice what they are.

Yes, they are the plants stamps.

I thought they look like sea creatures.

‘When you look things up-side-down, the world sometimes shows another face. Don't you agree? well, it's much more fun for sure'
That 's what I wrote for the journal.

Fluffy legs and Hairy legs.

Well, that's all for today.
I hope you liked them as much as I did.

The new collection Here and there,  you can see the whole collection

Thank you for staying with me until the end.

See you next time!

Vellum Layout and 6 inches | Yukie Bessho

6inches

 Hello everyone!

How are you doing with your crafty hobbies?

I have been quite busy working with papers .

And I have to tell you these crafting time is such joy to me.

***

Here today, I would like to share some layouts I have made with 6x6 inches paper pads and also a sheet of vellum.

First two are the 6x6inches layouts. I have used  Day Dream collection. This collection is great. Beautiful designs and colours.

I have used some stamps from Lunare collection, too. These stamps made the layout a lot more special and I loved how they effect.

Here is the layout with vellum paper.  This one is 12x12 inches.

Patterned papers are  from DayDream collection. I drew leaves by Kuretake Mangakapen.

These photos are from cherry picking. I wanted to place close-up cherry photo, too. But it looked too bright red and did not match the layout so I gave up , and placed some enamel dots and one sticker of cherry. Vellum is very fragile so I have adhered the whole layout on a plastic sheet.

Hope you liked them all!

8inches layouts with Journal stories | Yukie Bessho

8inches

Hello Everyone!

Have you already tried Studio Forty's new collection; Jounal Stories?

Well, I have made 5 of 8x8 layouts today and want to share with you.

The first one has very simple and bold design. Our traditional costume
Kimono go very well with bold designs.
I have used transparent sticker, chipboard sticker, and the scrapbooking papers, also some travel note size papers. They are so clean and natural colors.
Love to challenge more layouts with more Kimono photos.

The spread of 8x8 inches are more energetic and fun layouts.
Yellows always does great job to enlighten the layouts.
I have used the super fun stiches stamps along with the real thread.
I hope I succeeded to cheat the stiches!
The banner stamp, I have added little bit of shadows, so that
it looks even more real.

When you visit a place like zoological parks, you tend to take a lot of photos.
The blocking layouts are the best way to consume the photos.... OOps,
Ahen,
the best way to turn the photos into art;)

Power smile I made with larger photo. Lots of journaling made them look a little more like jounals.

So I still had some photos from the same day, I went on cropping, these spread of 8x8 layouts are fun to me.
My little girl patted the guinea pig for the first time and she was
very much pleased. So I bought her a stuffed guinea pig as a sourvenir from the zoo. She was very impressed and the guinea pig became her very close friend.
Until now even after 8 years, it is on her book shelf. The only thing different is that the guinea pigs became twins. Not just one;)

The best part of scrapbooking sure is to keep the memories warm.
I really like spot lighting the past photos with crafty ideas.
I hope you liked the idea as much as I do.

Thank you very much for being with me till the end.

Stay safe, keep calm and scrap on!!

3 layouts | Yukie Bessho

6inches

 Hello everyone.

Let me share my 6x6 inches layouts today.

I made three different types of layouts with BOMDIA!

collection.

The first one will be this very clear, sharp and modern layout with bright colors.

I have made another faux shaker box on the layout.

The blue back ground I have cut out to make the image of waves. Dew drops and clear plastic sheet gives some splashy images from ocean, too. The transparent sticker also gives a great accent.

The second one is this romantic layout with shells in details. The colors are smoky and melancholically elegant.

Do you like fussy cut outs from pattern papers? If you do, this would be a perfect fun for you during these stay at home periods. Transparent sticker does a great job on the photo, too!

The last one is with energetic layout with colorful colors.

I used water color for the background.

The yellow part I have drew some lines with white pen. The rainbow colors, bright yellow go well with beach photos!

Good Times layout | Isa

12x12 layout
Hello everybody!!!

How's everyone doing? How's your confinement going? Here in Spain things are a little strange but at least I can say that I am fine for now, trying to cope with everything! This is Isa here, and today I want to show you a new layout I 've made with a Studio Forty collection.

Due to the situation that we are living I haven't received yet the new materials and the new collection so I have decided to use one of the collections I like the most from Studio Forty, Beautiful Life. Because of the die cuts that I love and the happy colors I thought that it was the best option to use.

I have made a layout on a 12x12 inches watercolor paper, and I have created the background using different colors of distress inks. Apart from that, I have stamped some motives from the Beautiful Life collection stamps in different colors, grey and pink.

I have added some drops of yellow, white and black ink to add more details to it. Leading to the picture I have used a yellow thread that is linked with die cuts from the collection and wooden stars that I have painted in black.

As the cluster of layers for the picture I have used pieces of paper that I had from the Beautiful Live collection, a tag and a lace and some details from the papers that I cut myself.

I added a badge and some transparent stickers around the picture to add final decorations to it. I think also that the detail of the thread is a good resource so give emphasis and importance to the picture, as well as something different than the things we are used to see in layouts.

For the title of this layout I have used the wooden chipboard of the Beautiful Life collection, Good Times, but I painted in black as the stars that I used to decorate the layout.

The die cuts that I have used over the layout are combining in colors with the stripes of paper and also with the colors of ink that I have been using on the layout. It is good to use a black and white picture because in that way you do not have to also think about what colors combine with the picture you are using. What is more, I do think that black and white pictures are way more elegant.

I hope you have liked this post and that you create tons of layouts at home these days, but mos important, take good care of yourselves and your families!! Lots of love,
See you soon!
