Scrapbook Layout made with COSY TIME Collection | Nikki Kehr

12x12 layout

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here with a new Scrapbook Layout I´ve made with the georges new Cosy Time Collection. The collection reflects so much comfort and invites you to process the photos from the last few weeks. The garden is made winter-proof, the last vegetables grown are harvested and you can enjoy a good book with a hot chocolate. Do you also feel this just before winter?

I used paper No. 04 for the background. I built the layout with the papers No. 03 and No. 05. The layout is decorated with a pocket and two cards made of paper No. 06. Finally I used the stickers "so good", "little moments" and "cozy time".

For the bag there was a self-made shaker card that I sewn together from vellum and stamped with the stamp set "homemade" on it. I closed the filling opening with the paper strips "cosy time".
There were also matching stamps "sweet memories" for the finishing touches.

I hope you like this Scrapbook Layout and are inspired to create your own one. Let me know in the comments bellow if you had any questions and don´t forget to share your projects with the amazing products from Studio Forty.

Mini Album on Layout with BOM DIA | Nikki Kehr

12x12 layout

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here :) Today I have a mix of a Scrapbook Layout and Mini Album I´ve made with the beautiful new BOM DIA Collection. Since I couldn't make up my mind, I made such a combination and I'm thrilled with the result. It is actually not a great deal of additional work whether you can get much more on the layout. Have a look!

First I chose a base that is calm and as plain as possible so that the album comes into its own. Here I chose paper Nr. 05.

I then selected various Pattenr papers for the album, which harmonize well with each other and in which the type and size differ. This makes the layout appear more lively and not monotonous. Here I used the paper Nr. 02 and 05.

I cut the individual papers at the same height but with different widths and cut them with curled edges. This creates a great 3D effect and you can work with hidden elements that only partially look out. I decorated the mini album on the layout with the chipboard stickers Story Details and Bom DiaJourney #113 stamp set, Sweet Life stickers and Story Details journaling cards.

I hope you like this Mini Album on Scrapbook Layout and are inspired to create your own one. Let me know in the comments bellow if you had any questions and don´t forget to share your projects with the amazing products from Studio Forty.

12x12 layout

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here with a new scrapbook layout inspiration I´ve made with the new "So Romantic" collection.

Do you know what I like best about this collection? It's called "So Romantic" but you can use it for so many declarations of love. I dedicated my last scrapbook layout to a Cadillac from the car museum. I dedicate this to a very good friend of mine, whom I have known since our childhood.

A little tip: picks up the labels of the pattern paper. There, on the one hand, the patterns are printed again as small stripes, and on the other hand, the names of the collection and the paper can be used as phrases on the layout. I have implemented this for this one and thus generated matching "stickers".

I hope you like this scrapbook layout and are inspired to create your own one. Let me know in the comments bellow if you had any questions and don´t forget to share your projects with the amazing products from Studio Forty.

So Romantic Scrapbook Layout | Nikki Kehr

12x12 layout

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here with a new Scrapbook Layout created with the beautiful "So Romantic" Collection. In this layout I chose a grid pattern. This is always possible and is simply implemented. Great for beginners.

I was immediately impressed by the floral elements of the collection. I tried to record them everywhere on the layout. On the one hand with the help of the stickers from the collection and on the other hand with punched leaves of Vellum and with white painted leaves.

With this layout I used a color scheme with the focus on rose. With individual accents of pink and turquoise, the scrapbook layout looks more lively. White splashes of paint give the layout a great finish.

In the video below you can see how I created this scrapbook layout. Have fun!

I hope you like this scrapbook layout and are inspired to create your own one. Let me know in the comments bellow if you had any questions and don´t forget to share your projects with the amazing products from Studio Forty.

Cute little Mini Album | Nikki

daydream collection

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here with another Tutorial for a cute little Mini Album. This time I used one of my most favorite collection which is called "Daydream". You can see in the video at the end of this post how I created this one. I love to use Mini Albums to keep memories from special events like a short trip during the weekend together. Do you also like Minis? What do you use Mini Albums for?

When you open the Mini Album you can find on the left side two different types of pockets. I love pockets so much in minis because you can put tickets, recipes or something else in there and so you have everything important from your trip together.

On the right side I created a waterfall element where the most of the photos find a place because you can add photos on both sides of one waterfall element. As a special element I created a shaker pocket out of some packing material (you can see this in the video below). So don´t forget: You can reuse a lot when crafting ;)

I hope you like this little Mini Album and are inspired to create your own one. Let me know in the comments bellow if you had any questions and don´t forget to share your projects with the amazing products from Studio Forty.
Have fun with the video :)

Tag Mini Album „Always Fun“ | Nikki Kehr

Lunare

Hello lovely Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki is here with a brand new Mini Album made with the amazing new Lunare Collection. I’m so in love with the combination of blue and rose with a lot of stars. Are you also in love?
If you are still looking for inspiration on what you can make with the great new collection, then stay tuned and check out my tutorial for a Tag Mini Album. Let‘s get started!

The basic structure of the Mini Album is a Leporello with pockets in which various tags can be inserted. The Leporello has a size of 19,7x11cm and is folded at 5,5cm, 6,1cm, 11,6cm, 12,9cm and 18,4cm. So you get 3 surfaces on which bags can be attached to store the tags in them.

On one of the three pages I decided to integrate a larger bag to accommodate more tags and therefore more photos. Another Leporello in the form of tags fits perfect in the larger pocket. The pocket has a size of 7,3x5cm and is foldes at three sides at 0,5cm and 1 cm. Cut the edges to create a bag. You can see how it works in the process video at the end of this post.

For the other two sides, I chose one-sided tags with different features, such as the small windows. The vellum, from which the small pockets are made of, make the look lighter and ensure a small sneak peak, what’s behind them. In the video below you can find a little process how to create this Mini Album. Have fun and let us know if you had any questions.

Scrapbook Layout - Gaia Collection | Nikki Kehr

12x12 layout

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here with a new scrapbook layout I´ve made with the beautiful new Gaia Collection. When I saw this collection I was sure that I will work with my photos from our trip to Scotland last year. They fits perfectly to this collection, what do you think?

The cork paper invited me to create a kind of pin board. For this I chose a grid pattern and worked with different paper and photo sizes. The card with the "F" of the paper warm & cozy just fit perfectly for the title of the layout. We were on the photos at the Fairy Glen, so I used the "F" and simply expanded it with "airy Glen" and created the title.

I hope you had fun and are inspired. Don´t forget to show us your creations with products from Studio Forty :)

Girls Day | Nikki Kehr

9x12 layout

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here :) Today I will show you a sweet and fast scrapbook layout I´ve made with various papers from Studio Forty. Have fun!

For this layout I choose a white background so the pattern paper can pop out. The background is create out of different hexagons which I punched out of various pattern paper. You can choose the designs and colors you like ;)

I stuck the hexagons in different arrangements and made sure that there was no similar paper next to each other. For some dimension, I have punched out white hexagons and stamped with spells. Little tip:

First stamping and then punching. Then you can be sure that the stamped is in the right place.

Finally, I have chosen a great title, so that the focus is directed to the image. A few enamel butterflies and splashes of color complete the layout.

I hope you had fun and are inspired. Don´t forget to show us your creations with products from Studio Forty :)

Travel Kit | Nikki Kehr

Nikki Kehr

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here :) Today I will show you my travel kit for my upoming holidays. You will see all the products from Studio Forty are perfect for a travel kit. Let´s go!

First of all I decorate a travel journal where I can fill in my memories from our holidays. For this I choose a blank kraft travel journal, which you can find here. I love the thick paper of it. Next step I decorate the cover with some stamps. For this I use a white ink, because I love the look of it at the kraft colored cover. I stuck the clear sticker on white paper and deposited it with a pattern paper pennant. As a title, I have chosen something neutral, because I want to hold several holidays in it.

As materials I take pattern paper in the notebook edition, because they are small and handy and fit exactly in the travel journal. The (clear) stickers and washi tape stripes are perfect for traveling. They are space-saving and they come in different designs. In addition, they are thin and take up little space in the journal. There are a lot of different designs for travel at Studio Forty. In the same way, stamps must not be missing and suitable tool to be able to work with the materials. When traveling I use only the bare essentials: a pair of scissors, a small acrylic block, a black pen, a small black ink pad and a glue roller.

Finally, I pack all still space-saving, for which, for example, my self-designed bag from my last post is suitable. Have a look!

I hope you had fun and are inspired. Let us know which things you would put in your travel kit and how you store them during traveling.

Embossing Tip | Nikki Kehr

embossing

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here :)
Today I will share a quick embossing tip with you. If you also love the Studio Forty stamps like me, maybe you will search for more ways to use them as only stamp as background or embellishment. I found this cute little paper pouche in a local store and thought it would be great to create a more individual pouch out of it. So I decided to heat emboss with some stamps and create a summer pouch which can fill with a mini album, photos, tickets or some tools and embellishments for your next summer crop ;)

But watch out: heat embossing is hot and you work with paper ;) I have repeatedly removed the embossingtool from the paper and protected the paper from too much heat.

On the pink colored bag, the bright orange comes into its own. So that the bag does not seem too cluttered, I embossed the patterns in white. I love how it turns out, and now I will search for a suitable use for this bag.

I hope you had fun with this little inspiration and let us know in the comments bellow if you had any questions.

Travel - Hello World | Nikki Kehr

12x12 layout

Hello Studio Forty Friends,

Nikki here :) Today I will show you an easy scrapbook layout I´ve made with Hello World Collection. You can see how I created this layout in the video bellow.

For this layout I created an embossed background with some colored splashes. When I saw the great new stamp with the sign, I immediately knew which photo I would like to process on the layout. I love how it turns out :)

The black transparent stickers are perfect on colorful backgrounds. They bring some peace to the layout. On my layouts I try to record the colors of the photo. This calms the layout again. If the photo is still placed on Pattern Paper, it gives some dimensions and frames the image.

I hope you had fun with this little inspiration and let us know in the comments bellow if you had any questions.
Don´t forget to share your projects with us ;)
