10th ANNIVERSARY MINI ALBUM | Monika Pestrová

Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last post here at Studio Forty blog but hopefully that's going to change. I've been very busy at work and had no time to scrapbook at all. But here I am! Today I would like to share ma son's anniversary mini album I made as he turned ten in July. I use the new beautiful and gentle HERBARIUM collection.

The album is 6" x 8" and as binding i used yellow metal rings. All photos are 4" x 6". As a cover I used 1 mm cardboard and coated it with two of the Herbaria papers. And I added some ribbons and threads at one of the rings.

So as you can see I add one photo of my son from each year (1 till 10). It's a short trip down the memory lane and it was so exciting to actually remind to myself how he's changed. Mostly I stitched the numbers by a thread and used alphabets from my stash. Next thing I did I put vellum between each page. I print photos at home at my Epson ink printer and sometimes photos get a bit sticky. The vellum prevent them from sticking together.

Each page is simply decorated - some die cuts, clear stamps or stickers. I used some coloured ink too - not only black one. As there is a blank vellum between these pages I decorated the vellum too.

And that is my new mini album - 10 years, 10 pages. I hope you had fun and try to make some mini album too. It's so relaxing. Have a great day!
