Documenting my travels⎪Heidi Ma

How do you document your holidays?
There will be tons of photos and a lot of beautiful moments to remember during the summerholidays...

Because I like to do some scrapbooking during the holidays it was time to prepare an album!
I wanted to test something simple, so I built a little album kept with rings and prepared some pages, embellishments and bags.
Here it is:

I'm not sure if it isn't to small, but conditioned by the rings it is flexible
and I can add as much papers as I like!

This is how I made the front page:

 Ready:

I punched the holes and added some book cloth to couple the front and the back page.

Next I prepared some inserts.
Here's my first page.  I love that globe stamp! ♥️

The notebook edition fits perfekt to my album:

And I folded some bags, a little one for collecting snippets...

...and a bigger one for photos.

There are always a lot of photos...
So I had the idea to insert a fanfold paper, hold with a twine:

I'm sure, this will be a filled by a great day :-)

So,
here it's all together
(and there's still a lot of place for more...):

I’m well-prepared now, don’t you think so?

Layout Explore | Vânia Fonseca

Hello crafters!

It's Vânia here with two different layouts, one 12x12 and one in TN format both with the theme "explore".

I'm using papers from the new Hello World collection.

Let´s take a look at the 12x12 first.

I´ve start by cutting a world map shape in my silhouette cameo, to use it as a stencil for making my background. To give that watercolor look i use some distress inks in a couple of different colors.

Also cut the tittle for my page with the Cameo and use foam dots to glue it in to my page.
To embellish my layout i fussy cut some images from the 12x12 paper named "away we go".
And use one of the small cards from the notebook papers.

Stamped a couple of images, to add diversity to my page and add different layers. I relly like the mix of black and white stamped images with the colorful fussy cut ones.

And to finish, some clear stickers.

For my TN spread i decided to stamped one of the papers, to create my own pattern paper. Using stamps and paints a little bit darker than the color of the paper.

This page it´s all about exploring new things, ice cream in this case. A brand that we have here in Portugal, always release new flavors in summer. And i always like to try the new ones.

I stamped my tittle using one of my favorites alpha stamps. And played a lot with stamps in this page.

Also use some clear stickers and fussy cut images to decorate my page.

And that´s all for today, wish you all a great weekend!

Let's go everywhere.... | Stephanie B..

Hey girls... and boys,

i hope you had a great start into summer - just like us.
My husband and i went hiking for a few days at the german Harz-Mountains and it was great.

We love hiking-holidays and i thought it would be time for a layout about this hiking-travel-love...

For this layout i used a lot of the great new stamps and papers of the
wonderful "Hello World" and the lovely "Beautiful Life"-Collection

Materials:
BEAUTIFUL LIFE - enjoy today / relax - scrapbook paper
Just Perfect - stamp set # 91
This moment -small stamp set # 15
Let's go - stamp set#93
HELLO WORLD -Notebook edition - set of 12 papers 10x21 cm
HELLO WORLD - Stargazing / Postcards - scrapbook paper
Kraft-Cardstock
Alphas

First i cut out the world map from the Kraft-Cardstock.
Behnd every continent i stuck a different piece of paper - except Europe and Asia.
There i stamped a lot of word stamps, to design my own paper.

Then i adhered the map with 3D-pads over the papers.

I love how it turned out.

Have a great day
xoxo, Stephanie

Layout inspiration | Isa

Hello everybody!

It's Isa here, and I am glad to be back in the Studio Forty blog with a new inspiration. One of the projects that I love the most when I am doing some scrapbook are layouts. They are my favorite projects and I have tons of them at home. I don't even have space to store them anymore.

I think that they are a good way of representing and keeping good memories of a certain thing that we did. I also believe that a good picture with a good memory on it is the key to make a layout successful.

I wanted to use the collection Hello World to document this beautiful picture of my sister and her dog. I think that this collection is very versatile and you can use it for travels, camping trips or just a beautiful picture in the mountain.

I have used the stamp set of the collection to use the words and stamp them on the edge of the paper that I have cut with my fingers. The paper is perfect with the combination of colors. Normally, when a layout is created it is better to work in the range of 3 to 5 colors so the layout is not over charged with colors and therefore lots of complements of different colors. It is also advisable to use a picture that has matching colors with the papers or another alternative would be to use black and white pictures.

Transparent stickers from the collection and some die cuts are complementing the picture but always trying not to take out importance to the picture that it is what really matters in the project.

To give some highlight to the project I cut with my Silhouette Cameo a big title to put it in the patterned paper. I have sewed it instead of putting some glue or tape. I think it can give more volume and a different approach to the title disposition.

As a final touch, I always like to add some drops of ink. This time I have chosen black and green ink. They are the best replacement for dots for example. Also when you use ink you have to be careful not to ruin the project and make the drops fall in the place you want them to be. Letting them dry is also very important not to ruin the paper.

It is also essential when creating layouts the layers behind the picture. They give volume to it and it attracts more the viewer when observing the project. In this layout the layers behind the picture are the project life cards that you can find in one of the papers of the collection.

As you can see with a patterned paper, a set of stamps and some decorations you can make a beautiful creation to keep from a beautiful experience.

I hope you liked this project with the new collecion of Studio Forty that I am sure that you will enjoy because it is very beautiful to document your summer travels. See you soon with new creations! Lots of kisses!

Gdzie strumyk płynie z wolna... | Bligu

Kilka scen obozowego życia - kąpiele w rzece, rozbite namioty i urokliwie migoczące ognisko...

Arkusze z kartami do PL pozwoliły mi na wykonanie dodatkowych miejsc na zdjęcia.

Gotowość bojowa tuż przed najważniejszym punktem wycieczki :)

  I wreszcie na wodzie!

Kolejne ukryte miejsca na zdjęcia...

Robienie selfie i jednoczesne pilnowanie dziecka, wiosła i miliona latających rzeczy,
nie należy do najprostszych...

No i obowiązkowa mapka podróży :)

Wykorzystałam materiały z ostatnich kolekcji Studio Forty:
