Hi friends!

Here I am again with some inspiration, using the two new collections – Beautiful Day and Hello World. This time I created a 12x12 layout and a TN spread.

First Layout

The grey geometric patterned paper from the Hello World collection hypnotized me so much, I started thinking about how I could use the pattern to work for me. I decided to cut little Vs with my craft knife to use them to hold my photos and when cutting, I realized I could do some more and cut eight arrows out of the patterned paper.

I planned to back them with other patterned papers from the collection. When playing with the paper, I suddenly found out that when I turn it up side down, those arrows become hearts and that was kind of perfect.

I printed four photos of my son playing on his favorite playground in black and white, you can imagine how busy and colorful the photos from a playground can be when printed in color. I tucked them under the four cut Vs and under each of them I used a sticker from the Love This View transparent stickers.

I placed my title in the spaces between photos. It says: My Favorite Playground.

I backed the cut out geometric harts with some other patterned papers from both Hello World and Beautiful Life collections and to some of them I also added vellum to soften the pattern and add some interest. Some of them are raised up by pieces of adhesive foam.

I kept the upper line in blue and the lower one in green tones. In the middle of each line I added some more geometric hearts this time on top of the background paper. I used them for my journalling and embellished them with a few pieces cut out from patterned papers from both collections. I decided to use a couple of pink embellishments to break down the almost monochromatic look a little. I have also stamped and fussy cut the arrow stamp from the Let’s Go stamp set.

Second Layout

I decided to use the Beautiful Life collection to create a notebook spread in my 2018 Family Vacation by the sea. I used a whole page photo of our balcony sea view in the evening, printed on a piece of vellum. Behind the photo I sticked a clear sticker from the Beatutiful Life sticker sheet. I embellished the upper part with colorful banners cut out from the patterned paper from the collection.

On the left side of the spread I used two patterned papers from the Notebook Edition as a background and another one for the huge title, for which I used my plotter. To stamp the first word of my title I used the totally amazing AlphaTyped Stamp set.

I totally loved the PL card with the tiny beach houses so I decided to fussy cut them out and add them to the bottom of my beach paper together with a short journaling.
