Documenting Christmas Memories | Jen McMurtrey

Hello friends! It's Jen today with a spread from my 2020 December album, which I have working on finishing for the past month or so. Last Christmas was not as I had hoped due to the pandemic, and I have been slow to get the album finished. With only a few more stories to record, I am using the Studio Forty Frosty Season Collection to get it done.

Since I am using a small-format album, I decided to use the Frosty Season - Notebook Edition patterned papers.

To begin, I stamped snowflakes onto patterned paper with the Holiday Cheer Stamp Set and created a title using stamps and die cuts from my stash.

On the following page, I used more patterned papers to create a flip-up to hold several photos. I kept the embellishments simple using Oh What Fun Stickers and die cuts.
Last year was the first time we'd had a white Christmas in many years, and I spent quite a bit of time outside with our dogs that afternoon. My kids are all big now and don't like having their picture taken, so I'm left with the pups.
We had quite a good time playing outside in the snow!

When embellishing the second set of photos, I used the Frosty Season - Chipboard Stickers Set and Paper Strips Sticker Set.

Who can resist that cute face?!

Thank you for stopping by today, and I hope you've been inspired to finish your holiday projects! Remember, when shopping the Studio Forty Site, use code JENNIFER10 at checkout to receive 10 percent off of your order. Have a great day!
