Embossing frames
Hello my dears.
Today it's me, Sonja, and I am back on the blog with my latest project.
Have you already scrapped on a smaller format? I really like the size of the notebooks and I like to use different sizes and formats for my project life.
Today I'm going to show you a double page in the format 4x8 inch, which will find space in my 2020 Project Life album. I liked the stamp set with the frame and the palm tree right away and I knew from the start that I wanted to design a project with it.
First I wanted to stamp the frames on printed paper with black stamping ink. Somehow I didn't like that, the contrast of the black color on the light-colored papers was too great.
Then I took my embossing powder and the hair dryer out of the drawer and embossed the palm motif in pink and gold on a white, unstructured cardstock. I tried that with the frame too and found it very chic.
I cut out the frames and added a photo and a journaling card from the BOM DIA collection. Glued both frames to the background paper at the same height and decorated them with the matching palm tree.
Try embossing the great stamp motifs. The effect is really great. And gold and pink works always, right?
Have fun copying and see you next time. Stay safe and best regards.
