Traveler's Notebook from Switzerland | Monika Pestrová

Hello to all of you! Today I'd like to share with you another Traveler's Notebook inspiration. Last summer we went to Switzerland to visit my aunt and spend a few days in mountains. I must admit that was far the most beautiful mountain trip I've ever experienced. Mountains in Switzerland are green and white and together with cobalt sky it looks fantastic. For this album I used HELLO WORLD collection together with some BOM DIA stamps.

I actually remade the notebook and I added a few velum pages in it. And velum is actually an element I want to talk a bit more about today. I used it in my Traveler's Notebook in a different ways. First I draw some doodles with white gel pen on my title page. And this is always fun and relaxing. But you need good white gel pen. I use GELLY ROLL pen from Sakura.

As you can see I wrote a lot of text in my Traveler's Diary. It's because I want to have a record of as many details as possible. All photos are 5 cm x 7,5 cm.

Sometimes I use velum to make "stickers" using stamps and embossing powder. In this case I embossed the sun stamp with yellow embossing powder and cut it out. Then I glued it on my project.

My next page is made from velum. I just added photo and a few embelishments (chipbords, paper strips, stamps). Sometimes I get questions if I put something on the other side ... and the answer is no. I don't mind seeing "the mess" on the other side.

Ok. That's all for today. I have still lot's to work on this Traveler's Notebook but I will finish it in the next week. So I might bring you some more inspiration next time. I hope you caught a little inspiration with my velum tips. Have a great summer!
