The macrame binding album | Anabel

Hello again,

A few days ago I learned how to make bindings with macrame, a technique that I love and I did not want to miss the opportunity to show it in this wonderful blog.


I have made it small but you can do it in the sizes you like, and the same goes for the binding, I have decided to do it only with 4 strings but you can add as many as you want.

As you can see I have used the Gaia collection, one of my favourites for the interior, and for the sheets I have used some basic cream coloured ones.



To make the binding, I have used 4 strings of about 80cm. The first step is to fold them in half and pass the central part through the holes of one of the covers, then you have to make the knot that is made in the tags, that easy. In the video you can see it much better.

 
Once all these knots are done, the best thing is to secure them so that they stay well fastened. I have closed it with the festoon knot.
