Stationary kit for the new school year | Piruletasdepapel

Hello Studio Forty friends! How are you? A new school year has already started, what a good excuse to make a stationary kit for a special person! ;) It's Nuria here today, wanna see what's coming up?

The kit contains a spiral notebook and a beautiful "case" for a pack of post it®. Let's start with the notebook: It is a DINA5 size gold rose spiral notebook made with the awesome Essentials Summer collection

I chose a floral patterned paper combined with the yellow vichy one for the front cover. The vichy strip is one third the total width (a bit less). As the idea is to write on the notebook comfortably, there is no much chance for embellish with a lot of volume. Thus, I embellished the cover with a flat sticker "enjoy the journey" (sending best wishes) and an enamel dot. On the vichy strip I use a strap die as an ornament. The inside of the front cover has been decorated with several pockets and tags, using the same patterned papers.

The back cover is made with the vichy patterned paper and decorated with the same strap die as in the front cover.

The inside of the back cover has been decorated with two handmade vertical pockets using the vichy patterned paper and the white and black floral patterned paper.

Next, let's take a look at the "case" for post it®. The "case" size is 8x8cm for a 7,5x7,5cm post it® pack, but you can choose any size available. You have to make the "case" as it was a mini album: take cardboard for the cover, spine and back cover. Cover the different parts of the cardboard with patterned paper. I used the black and white floral patterned paper and combined it with the vichy yellow to have some consistency with the notebook.

Then completely cover the inside with patterned paper and glue the post it® packet to the inside of the back cover and... voilà!

I did not embellished the external part of the case because the flowers with the yellow and green splashes were enough for me, but mostly to keep it practical. I finalised it with a transparent sticker inside

That's all for today! Hope you enjoyed today's post and don't forget to visit Studio Forty shop website, you will get 10% off with the code nuria10! Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely week!
