Destructured Mini album | Piruletasdepapel
Hello Studio Forty friends! How are you? It's Nuria here today sharing with you a new inspiration using the amazing Essentials Summer collection. Today we are going to create a destructured and funny minialbum. Let's get started!
The mini album is 9,5 x17,5 cm. It is inspired in triptics, so it is folded forming 3 parts. I used the beautiful vichy patterned paper for the cover. I cut a triangle part in the front cover to give more dynamism and options for decoration. An eyelet with white thread wrap the minialbum, some wooden charms at the end of the white thread make my day! ;) The central element is a die cut with the sentence "Here's the story" stamped on it. There are 3 repetitive clusters of embellishments with blue and yellow stamped leaves, die cut leaves and some enamels. There is also a tab in the diagonal part of the cover.
Once the mini album is opened, you can see a central part with the pages, that actually are forming part of the spine, and two lateral parts. Either lateral part has a mini pocket made with PL cards and embellished with a pink heart and 'making memories' transparent sticker.
The central part (spine) contains 4 pages in different sizes to create a cascade effect. I love how the embellishments pop up between the pages. I used the yellow alphas to form the word 'Summer' for the first page.
You can use die cuts, enamels and transparent stickers from the collection to decorate the pages. This time I adhere the stickers directly on patterned paper (and not on a white cardstock).
You can also stick transparent stickers on the pic, you can make the perfect combo (pic-sticker)! In the mini album, the 'churros' were 'delicious'.
You can use PL cards to embellish your pages or cut out the element you want from the PL card (i.e., 'enjoy') and use it as a die cut.
The last page is decorated with PL cards in the laterals and a vertical pocket was created on the base.
One final pic in which you can see the back cover and its embellishments: a colour sticker and an enamel shape.
That's all for today! Hope you enjoyed today's post and don't forget to visit Studio Forty shop website, you will get 10% off with the code nuria10!
