Layout PS: I Still Love You | Isa
Hello everyone!!
Happy Valentine's day to you all!! It's Isa here today on the blog and to commemorate this special love day I have decided to present you a wonderul and full of love layout.
If you have Netflix and you are a fan of chick flick movies, you may know that the second part of "To all the boys I've loved before" was out last Wednesday. I cannot wait to sit today on my sofa and eat my favourite pizza and watch it! As I fell in love with this nice story, I decided to make a layout with a picture of the new movie because this love is one of a kind and special.
I used papers of the Lunare collection by Studio Forty, but also I wanted to make a mix media background. I used white gesso, blue pigment, modelling paste for the stars and also some drops of white and golden ink. I wanted to create a background that could look like the sky and fill it with starns and moons.
I cut with different puch boards some stars of different sizes and also the moons that you can find in the papers of the Lunare collection. I used them to decorate the background of the layout and to give it more volume and they create like a path that leads you to the picture.
I also added some golden stars to add more shiny effect on the layout. In the background I stamped also words and motives from the stamps sets of Lunare.
Around the picture I have added also more moons so it follows the combination that I have been using in the layout. In the cluster of layers that is behind the picture I have used the journaling cards of the lunare collection. As a final touch in the picture I have added a transparent sticker.
For the title, I have used some blue thickers to write the title of the movie: PS I Still Love You.
As a base of the layout I have used a paper from the Lunare collection, but the result after adding gesso, water and so on was that the paper was a bit weak so I decided to cut 1 inch per side and then rip the edges.
Then I glued with 3D dots to another paper from the collection so the paper is more straight and firm and you do not feel the weakness that remains in the paper after adding so many things. This is a very useful tip that you can use when you want to add mix media to regular scrapbook paper.
As you can see the effect of the stars, and pigment color on the paper has a great combination with the decorations that I made from the papers of Lunare collection.
I hope you like this layout full of love and I hope that you like the movie if you see it!! See you soon with more inspiration on the blog!
Kisses,
Isa
