Book Journal - Notes dla mola książkowego | BB's craft cards

book journal
Cześć, kochani! 😊
Dziś mam dla Was inspirację, która od nowego roku jest szczególnie bliska mojemu sercu – book journal! 📖✨

Uwielbiam łączyć pasję do czytania z kreatywnym journalingiem, a ten projekt to właśnie moja forma zatrzymania książkowych wspomnień.

A Ty? Masz swój sposób na zapisywanie książkowych wspomnień? Może prowadzisz własny book journal? Daj mi znać w komentarzach!
Pozdrawiam i do zobaczenia przy kolejnej inspiracji!

Fringe layout Magic garden | Mirka

clear stamp
Hello dear S40 fans! How are you? ;)

Today I have inspiration for you on a layout with fringes. The fringes are made from the beautiful striped paper from the romantic Magic garden collection. I cut several strips for my layout.
I glued the strips to the white paper next to each other. Among them I placed a photo of my daughter caressing tulips.

I stamped several different flowers and leaves on colored papers from the TN set papers and carefully cut them out. I glued the frames from this sheet of transparent stickers onto gray TN paper. I cut those out too. I then arranged everything around the photos.

I used stamps from this stamp set for the phrase. I also used some enamel dots.

Finally, I took cotton and a needle and embroidered a border around the photo. It's like an addition to the sticker frames :) A few more splatters with black watercolor paint and it's done.

I hope you like my layout and try the fringe page too. Have a beautiful spring day, good luck.

Winter mini album | Piruletasdepapel

cards

Hello everyone and happy Friday!! How are you? It's Nuria on the S40 blog today, Fridays are my fave day of the week! Weekend is about to start and time and plans are waiting for us! Today I show you a mini album! Hope you get inspired and create a similar project during the weekend!

I like to start deciding the cover. In that case, it's a simple and romantic cover, using a combination of the following patterned papers: Berries and White. I use a rubber band, some charms and lace loops as a closure.

Then, it's time to choose a pice of cardboard. I like to make the most of the material, so I decide the size of the mini album according to the leftover pieces of cardboard I have had from previous projects. This mini album is 11x12,5cm.

The structure is made with two A4 white card paper. The spine of the outer page is 3 cm and 2cm for the inner one. I fold the pages according to the structures I want to create.

There is a 3rd page done with a piece of white card, folded in half and sewed to the previous page by the spine. This 3rd page is a centimeter smaller to create a cascading effect.

This pages are the reverse of the polar stories page, I like to spread the elements composing in two pages, and not just one page, I think it gives harmony to the album. I decide to create these pages in a warmer tones than the rest of the mini album. I use 'Bits and pieces' and 'Wood' patterned paper. Some die cuts and chipboards finalise the decoration.

Don't get limited by the size of the white card paper. You can create tabs at the end of the card paper and stick another element. In this case, I created a pocket with an horizontal opening.

The pocket contains a piece of card paper folded in four parts, the two end parts are flaps to pull. I decorated the flaps with 'Berry' patterned paper. The inside is decorated with 'Cards' patterned paper and the journaling card 'Winter Wonderland'.

I have used different Studio Forty collections for this mini album: Vintage Glow, Together, Nordica, Frosty Seasons and Joyful collections are most of it. I love to mix them all, playing with similar tones and/or making contrast with them.

In these pages I have created decorative elements with patterned paper and chipboard frames. Also, I stamped the word Joy in a label frame and completed the decoration with cut out elements from different materials.

And we come to the last page of the album, very sweet and soft, using the Nordica collection and contrasting with red elements that coordinate both pages.

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely weekend! Let us know if you create a similar album!

Mini album pop-up “Friends” | Emanuela Cartincantevole

cartincantevole
Hi guys! Do you like mini pop-up albums? How about making one together using the Together and Vintage Glow collections? Let's get started now!

First cut 4 pieces of white cardboard to 8" x 8" and fold all four to 4" either side. Mark only one diagonal.

Place the card so that the diagonal runs from top left to bottom right. In the bottom left square, fold to 3.5". Cut to make a tab.

Mark the folds and glue the tab to the square next to it. Fold the card onto itself following the folds. Repeat the operation for all four cards and finally glue them together.

At this point all that remains is to cover the structure using VINTAGE GLOW -Papiery Notebook -zestaw 18 papierów 10x21 cm /paper set of 18 Notebook size papers and TOGETHER Notebook edition-bloczek 18 papierów 10x21 cm /paper set of 18. Before gluing the cover, run a ribbon through it for closure.

Choose four square photos and have fun embellishing the mini album. You can also make small pockets, also in vellum, where you can insert photos or tags. The feature of this mini album is that once opened it becomes a home decor.

Mini Album “HO HO HO” | Emanuela Cartincantevole

cartincantevole
Hi guys! How did you spend Christmas? Hopefully well? Did you take lots of photos?
I have an idea here for you to make a very quick mini-album to collect the most beautiful photos of your Christmas.

To make the mini album you need 2 pieces of chipboard 10.5 cm x 14 cm and the collections Frosty Season, Joyful, Nordica, Together, Vintage Glow. The binding is made by punching holes with a hole punch and discs with a diameter of approximately 3 cm.

The stars of the mini album are definitely the journaling cards also used as decorative elements. Transparencies can also be made using acetate and vellum.

There is no shortage of pockets for inserting photos or journaling cards. Stamps are mainly used with the hot embossing technique and become embellishment elements.

Have a nice day - Emanuela
