Good morning. Nicole here! Today I'm sharing two new layouts I created using the Nordica Collection. As I was looking through the journaling cards the frosted tree journaling card really caught my eye. I love the feel of this journaling card and thought it would be perfect for this wintery page.

I used the light orange patterned paper for the center of the layout with the snowflake patterned along the edges. The patterns look nice against the color photos.

I used a lace punch to punch the lace border out of a scrap piece of patterned paper to add some dimension behind the photos.

The stamps are soooo pretty. I stamped the little reindeer from the Woodland Stamp Set at the bottom of the photo and then colored him in using a marker. Then I stamped the snowflakes from the Nordica Stamp Set and colored them in as well. I added some Sticker Dots and gems to add dimension.

To complete the layout, I added a few chipboard pieces, journaling and clear stickers!

I must really like these patterns because I honestly did not plan on using similar patterns from the first layout, but they work so well with the photo. But I did use the floral print to frame the photo along with a few other patterns from the cut-apart paper. They made a nice frame!

I created a tag using a scrap piece of paper to tuck behind the photo then added a few chipboard pieces and a sticker dot to frame the photo. I stamped "wonderland" onto a piece of paper and tucked it behind the matted photo.

I added few more embellishments at the bottom to help pull the layout together. The snowflake was stamped on patterned paper and then trimmed. I used a foam square to adhere it to the layout.

These photos are getting me in the mood for winter! Well...not winter, but I want some snow. We haven't gotten much snow in the past few years! The way this year has been going, we might get a blizzard. LOL.
