Circles Inspiration | December Daily TN | Vânia Fonseca

Hello crafty friends! With December so close today i'm sharing with you my handmade Traveler's Notebook. I love Traveler's notebooks and this year i will use this format for my December Daily.

I´m using the beautiful Just Chillin´ collection!

This project is also inspired by "circles", not just the literal ones but also the circular shape, that we can found, for example, in the snow flakes, in the christmas ornaments, the small dots of glitter, etc.

It's also the perfect shape for this holiday season, since it's a symbol of gathering together wholeness and completion, don' t you think?

So let's take a look inside! I´ve started with a intro page, welcoming December..


I like to play with different materials and textures, that´s one of the reasons why sometimes i made my own TN inserts, so i decided to add a vellum sheet on the top of my "reason why" page.

I´ve stamped the vellum sheet with snowflakes all over it in different colors. It´s hard to see the real effect in photolo but it gives a really nice effect in person.


Tip - To stamped on vellum i've used distress oxide and versamagic both are perfect for this!

In this next page i explain the reason why i like to do this project, i always like to started this project with this short explanation.
December Daily it´s a big project so i like to set up some foundation pages and work a little in advanced on my layouts, and that´s what i did here with day 1.


I also like to make my own die cuts, using an electronic or a manual die cutting machine. This deer silhouette  was cut in the silhouette machine and then painted with a blue glitter paint.


I use this photos to give you an idea of how the TN spreads will look like, because i didn´t have "real" December photos for day 1 and 2.
