Nikki
here :) Today I will show you a scrapbook layout I´ve made
with the beautiful collection called "Good Vibes". I love all these soft and various colors from this collection. At my YouTube channel you
can also see a little process video, have a look.
This layout is definitely a good one for beginners. You only need a cute flower punch, glue and some alphas if you want to create an optional title. The basic of this layout is a wide stripe of paper which is also the eyecatcher. To put the photo into scene and frame it, place flowers in different sizes around it. With the clear stickers and stamps you can catch the mood of the photo and give the layout some little journaling.
For some dimension I added tissue paper. A little tip:
you don´t necessarily have to buy tissue paper. You usually get it as packaging material in different colors and patterns. Just pick it up and process it on your next project. This protects the wallet and the environment ;)
I always give my layouts a finishing touch with splashes of color and enamel dots or sequins. I hope you had fun and are inspired by this beautiful Good Vibes
collection. Let us know in the comments bellow if you have any questions
and share your work with us :)
It is me again, Stephanie and today - before everyone is totally freaking out because of the super
super super cool new summer collections that are in the StudioForty- Shop right now - i want to show a layout i made with the lovely DAYDREAM Collection.
I am still in love with the papers and stuff....
Everytime i look at this collection and those soft colors, i think about sunny late afternoons.
You know - this time when the sun is getting down slowly...
And so i often think about hiking afternoons in summer when take the papers.
So this time i made a hiking layout.
With a whole lot of butterflies and a lot of summer feelings...
It is great to be back to the Studio Forty blog with a new project! In today's post I am going to show you my new coptic book that I have prepared and also a tutorial on how to do it.
For this project I have used the collection DayDream of Studio Forty that has wonderful colors and great drawings. I love the color combination and the patterns of all the papers. To make this kind of project what you need is patterned paper, some wood covers (that I cut and painted previously), some white cardstock and lots of charms to put in the spine while the book is being stitched and a good thread for the stitching.
It is not an easy project, but the results are wonderful and making them kinds of relax me when I am stressed from my daily life. Preparing them is a process that requires some steps and to be careful when doing them.
You can choose to add more or less charms in the spine but for me I think that it is what makes this kind of projects unique. To add decorations that hang there and give these kind of books cheerfulness and volume.
If you do not want to miss how to create them, you can find below the Youtube tutorial I have prepared to do them. I hope you like it:
It is a bit long video but I hope it can help you to create this kind of project and get ideas on how to use the wonderful DayDream collection by Studio Forty.
If you have any questions or comments do not hesitate to leave them in the comments section! I hope to be back soon in the blog with new projects!! Lost of kisses! Isa
daydream collectionHello crafters! It´s Vânia here, today i´m sharing some inspiration in Traveler´s notebook spreads using the DayDream collection.
Did you hear about the new summer collections Beautiful Life and Hello World? Both so beautiful and perfect for any summer project! They will be available tomorrow. But you can also order your kit today right here.
Now let´s take a look at the pages that i have made.
First one i use the stamps and a little bit of paint for my background. Who doesn´t love flowers? I really love them and like to take some pictures of my garden and document it.
Also add some clear stickers and several layers to backed my photo. Because TN spreads are in a smaller scale we can use our scraps, so nothing goes to waste.
Fussy cut some frames, flowers and leaves from the pattern papers and use them to decorate my spread, mixing them with stickers and stamped images.
For the second spread i decide to use the 12x12 paper that came with the cut apart cards as a background for one of the sides of my spread.
Stamped directly on my photo. And used the Alpha Typed stamp set to complement the title of my page. The alphabet stamps are always a must have, because you can always use them.
This spread it´s about my work view, sometimes we forget to appreciate the beauty of everyday life. And that´s what this page it´s all about. I also add a little pocket to hide some journaling behind the photo. But this is also a great way to add an extra photo.
And that´s all for today!
