Hello friends! How are you? This is Nuria with a 12'x12' summer layout inspiration made with the new Essentials Summer collection!

I love the hypnotic effect the sea waves have, so relaxing. Don't you think? And this pic is so beautiful that, when I look at it, I feel like I can hear the sea. All these, inspire me representing the sea waves undulating little paper pieces for this layout.

I used the amazing blue patterned paper to represent the sea waves. I cut and undulate each piece of paper in two different directions to create some volume and the wave shape. I glued them very carefully and in different directions trying to create some sea effect.

I created clusters of embellishments 'on the crest of the waves': I used lemon shaped diecuts, a phrase 'chase the sun' and some enamels on top and underneath. The other cluster is composed by flip flops and sun cream, both elements related to the sun and the beach.

With the 'Summer' diecut and some letters of the colour stickers alpha, I created the 'summer vibes' cluster of embellishments on the bottom of the pic. Some white thread, a phrase 'enjoy sunny days' and an isolated wave complete the cluster.

Focusing on the top of the pic, I decorated it with elements from the journaling cards: a soda and some donoughts make the perfect match! A transparent sticker 'chill out' glued on the photo makes the final touch!
