Layout Love | Loredana Bucaria

Hey there friends! How are you? Hope you all are safe and healthy in this so particular time of our lives. Happy Spring! Yeah! Winter is over and I'm enjoying the last cold and the first warm sunti days.
Today I share with you all  my love for the layouts, lately I'm feeling more creative and I want to experiment and to try new designs and new ways to create a page. My obsession is the white background in many of them, I know it can be borino but I think that the white background is perfect to show all the colors of papers and embellishments and to try watercolors and mixed media effects.

It works better to  me simply :)

I have created two 12x12 pages using the two newest collection from Studio Forty, Let's Party and Don't grow up. I love them to pices! They are very beautiful, one colorful and happy and the other one so soft and dreamy, poetic.

For the "Make a wish" page I have cut a lot of stars in 4 different dimensioni and I have overlapped them sticking them one to another. I have created 9 groups of stars and with them a big circle sewing them to the background in a real circle.

Then I added the picture in black and white color because it gives a good contrast into the page. The photo is sticked to the page with the 3d foam tape to give it more emphasis. In the end I played with all the different embellishments from the collection, from the chipboards to the clear stickers, the die cut, the travel notebook papers,  the puffy little stickers and the beautiful stamps.

I have loved loved so much to celebrate this memory with this page! It's one of my treasures.

For the second page "You" instead the style is a little different. I have created a watercolor background with two different shadows of yellow, I spreaded some white acrylic ink drops and some black ink drops here and there. I matted the picture with different scarpe from the Never grow up collection and a little piece of tissue paper.

I had a lot of fun creating this page and playing with the beautiful stamps. With them I created that lovely banner on watercolor paper and I colored it in the same shadow of the little fox. Then I have just played with the tone on tone tecnique using the yellow ink to stamp some bows and stars
A cluster of some die cuts and different embellishments from the same Don't grow up collection :)

Hope you like the pages and will be inspired to create yours playing with these fabulous supplies!

Love, Lory
