12x12 layout

Hello together! Kerstin here with a quick layout inspiration in these hot days. Being creative in hot temperatures is a challenge. Maybe you feel the same way, then this idea is something for you!

Let's get started!

My daughter wanted a layout for her photo wall and chose the amazing Paper 04 from the ESSENTIAL SUMMER 2023 collection. I cut out the different squares and glued them to a white 10 12/2 x 10 1/2 cardstock using 3D Foam. I attached this to a 12 x 12 white cardstock.

Stickers that I want to use, like the Chill out Color Stickers here, I stick on white copy paper and cut them out with scissors. So I can use the stickers as Die Cuts and attach them where I want them.

The photo used has an approximate size of 8 x 4 inches. I printed it out on photo paper and cut it into this triangle shape.

Add a lovely matching quote - and you've got a beautiful layout for an unforgettable memory! A few personal words my daughter has added to the back of the laoyut. It now goes to her photo wall and later in the folder.

Cześć, to Agnieszka, na dziś przygotowałam strony z podróży do Kopenhagi w tegorocznym albumie.

Strona otwierająca to layout w formacie trochę większym od A4. Jako bazy użyłam papieru ESSENTIALS- SUMMER-05. Jak widzicie, mój zachwyt alfabetami nie mija i używam ich niemal w każdym projekcie i na każdej stronie albumu :) Oprócz alfabetów w projekcie użyłam również stempli i innych naklejek z tej kolekcji.

Na kolejnej stronie umieściłam zdjęcia z podróży oraz pierwszych spacerów po Kopenhadze. Na stemplach - etykietach umieściłam opisy do zdjęć.

Most łączący Danię ze Szwecją był pięknie widoczny z okna samolotu, a ponieważ kryminał o tym tytule jest jednym z moich ulubionych, postanowiłam użyć go także na karcie.

Kopenhaga jest miastem rowerów. Zostało zaprojektowane z myślą o ruchu rowerowym i opiera się na sieci zabezpieczonych ścieżek rowerowych, jednokierunkowe ścieżki rowerowe są oddzielone krawężnikiem zarówno od chodnika, jak i od drogi. W całym mieście jest też ogromna ilość parkingów dla rowerów.

Hello friends! Nicole here with a mini tag book I created using the Essential Summer collection and a few metal dies I have in my stash. I love the floral printed paper and thought it would make a pretty book cover!

I'm not normally a pink person, but lately the color is wearing on me... and pink goes with flowers perfectly... and it looks so pretty against the black and white florals... it just pops!

I fussy cut a flower from the paper and mounted it on the pocket holder using foams squares to add dimension. Next, I added some pale pink sticker dots and die cuts. I decided to add the slice of watermelon to add a bit more pink!

I punched the photos and tags out using a metal die and added some ribbon and transparent stickers and embellishments.

Isn't this lovely?! I try to think of different things to create other than layouts etc... and I think this is my favorite project I created so far this year. I hope you found this project inspiring! Good morning! Dhaara here with another quick gifting option. With summer around who won't like a picnic and some music. Yes, this gift will give much happiness to Music lovers.

Songs lyrics, karaoke night, some old songs, and happy notes from loved ones over campfire night would give a heavenly feel. I have created a box sized 8cm*8cm using SUMMER Essentials collection pattern paper.

Once the box and cover are prepared, let's move on to add-ons to keep inside the box.

Teeny-tiny cards are always my favorite.

Hello friends! How are you? This is Nuria and today I come up with an origami inspo: a box with a very mini album inside! I used the beautiful Essentials Summer collection.

The origami box final size is 5*5cm (2'*2'). The box has two parts: the outer one is made with the mint blue + lemons patterned paper, and the inner part with the summery yellow vichy patterned paper. I have decorated the box with a geometric wooden charm and a piece of orange thread as closure.

The mini album is very small. It is 4,5*4,5cm (1,7'*1,7') and has an accordion structure, each page is separated with a 1 cm spine size. I decorated each spine with the corresponding patterned paper. The closing is made with an orange thread bow. The lenght of one of the sides of the thread is double as it has to contain the back of the mini album.

This time I decided to use the same patterned paper in all pages per side. Personally I need some consistency of patterns when using small sizes. A yellow stripped patterned paper for the front side
and the beautiful and elegant paper with flowers for the back side.

I decorated the mini album with different elements such as transparent stickers, a pink pastel strawberry wax seal, diecuts and enamel dots.
The mini album also has a pocket between its pages, in which I have included a decorative label with transparent stickers. A final photo of the back of the mini album:
