Hey there!!

Isa here and I am so glad to be back in the Studio Forty blog with a new video tutorial. Today I have started the new collection "Beautiful Life". I couldn't wait to start creating things with it! The papers, the elements, and die cuts! As a new complement to the collections now we have die cuts and I am thrilled because I think that they are an essential complement in scrapbook collections.

As a first project with the new collection I wanted to create something simple to compensate my last tutorial because I think it was a bit hard. So for today I have prepared a tutorial for making a mini album with only one sheet of paper.

As a base I have used a white cardstock paper and then I have used the TN inserts of the collection and some decorations of some papers to decorate the project.

I have used also some stamps sets of the collection because I think that the words match perfect with all the decorations and drawings of the papers.

Inside the project there are some pockets so we can insert some journaling cards or tags.

I think it is a very simple and beautiful project where you can insert tons of pictures and store them in a very small project.

When it is closed it is only a 4x4 inches project so it is easy to carry it everywhere with you to keep nice memories.

No to mamy wreszcie wiosnę z prawdziwego zdarzenia!

Pogoda zachęca do wyjazdów, krótkich wypadów za miasto czy też kilkugodzinnych wycieczek w piękne okoliczności przyrody :)

Jako, że z takich wypadów przywozimy kilka zdjęć, no dobrze Ci najbardziej zapaleni nawet kilkadziesiąt, później chcielibyśmy gdzieś je zachować - niekoniecznie na dysku komputera czy w pamięci telefonu.
Mam przyjaciółkę, która uwielbia takie krótkie ale intensywne wypady, których przebieg skrupulatnie fotografuje oraz przywozi drobiazgi, pamiątki ale później właśnie ma problem jak je zachować na dłużej by nie musieć każdorazowo odpalać komputera by sobie powspominać.

I tak oto dla niej stworzyłam niewielkie rozmiarem pudełko wraz z albumem/notesem na zdjęcia i zapiski podróżne :)

Pudełko okleiłam papierem scrapowym i ozdobiłam wieczko - użyłam w tym celu stempli, kawałków papierów oraz kawałków torebki papierowej w którą było zapakowane moje zamówienie ;) przy okazji recykling zrobiłam by nie marnować niczego a co stworzyło mi dodatkową warstwę i element kompozycji.

Dodałam mikrokulki na odbitkę stempla by stworzyć wrażenie przestrzenności całości oraz powycinałam elementy z papierów z kolekcji - pewnie już wiecie, że pierwsze co robię to patrzę co by tu wyciąć z papieru i użyć w swojej pracy :)

W pudełku oprócz albumu można przechowywać zdjęcia, bilety, zasuszone kwiatki, muszelki i co tylko zechcemy przywieźć z podróży a co będzie wiązało się z miłymi wspomnieniami z naszej wyprawy.

Jako ozdoby przy albumie/notesie użyłam wstążki, sznurka i małej buteleczki wypełnionej mikrokulkami. Taką buteleczkę możecie napełnić na przykład piaskiem czy małymi kamyczkami czy muszelkami i będzie to dodatkowa pamiątka waszej podróży.

Na stronach zrobiłam odbitki stempli a także zostawiłam kilka pustych kartek by można było tam wkleić zdjęcia lub bilety czy inne drobne pamiątki z wyprawy.

Uważam, że taka mała forma zamknięta w pudełku będzie fajnym wspomnieniem a dodatkowo ozdobą i w każdej chwili można będzie otworzyć i powspominać :)

I chyba dołożę do tego mały zestaw stempli by przyjaciółka mogła sama ozdabiać swoje wpisy i nadać im indywidualny charakter.

A Wy co sądzicie o takim prezencie?

Ja bym bardzo chętnie wykorzystała taki prezent - notes zabrała w podróż by potem wraz z pamiątkami włożyć go do pudełka :)

Hej! Witajcie w czerwcowy weekend.

Dzis na blogu mamy dla Was cały bukiet pięknych kartek od Magali, tylko zobaczcie jak kreatywnie wykorzystała nasze stemple z kolekcji Daydream.

Pierwsza kartka to niesamowita kompozycja w stylu mandali, stworzona przy pomocy zestawu stempli "You got this", środek został przysłonięty kółkiem z papieru na czas stemplowania, tak żeby póżniej po jego ściągnięciu było miejsce na napis ze stempla.

Druga kartka to kompozycja z ukwieconych ramek, stworzonych z papierów z kolekcji Daydream oraz ze stempli z obu zestawów.

Trzecia kartka jest najprostsza, poza świetnym bukietem z kwiatów jest też folia przeźroczysta

z umieszczonym na niej napisem.

Spróbujcie sami wykorzystać te pomysły w swoich projektach, a efektami podzielcie się

w komentarzach.

Hi Friends, this is my blog post and I’d like to say I am really happy to have the opportunity todesign for Studio Forty and join such a great team of talented ladies. I am looking forward to playing with the awesome Studio Forty products in the coming months.

While waiting for the new products to arrive I have used the Daydream collection and because I was in a crafty mood I have prepared a mix of formats. So let’s start from the biggest to the smallest.

The first layout is about my son’s love for dill. He tried it first time when visiting his grandma couple of weeks ago and he spent half an hour in the garden picking it and eating. Grandma finally decided to give us one of the plants and we were leaving with our own dill in a flower pot. This collection was just perfect for the garden atmosphere. I decided to create a frame using the green floral paper I left a couple of fussy cut plants on the frame tooverlap the background white cardstock.

I knew I wanted to use the „You got this“ stamp set from the collection as it was packed with cute little flowers. I took all of the single flowers from the set and put them on an acryllic block to create a stamped pattern.

Then I repeatedly stamped and heat embossed the flowers with clear embossing powder. Once this was done, I used watercolors and painted a few stripes to finish the look and allow the stamps to stand out of the background. I chose the colors that were present on the photo.

I cut a rectangle out of this custom made paper and another rectangle of the Pinewood patterned paper to back my photo. I used a piece of vellum and adhesive foam to add some texture and dimension.

Then I added some black elements for a little bit of contrast - journaling, title and a bunch of black splatters and that was it.

For my second project I went for my favorite format - a traveler’s notebook spread. I used the Daydream Notebook Edition https://www.shop.studioforty.pl/pl/p/DAYDREAM-Notebook-edition-zestaw-12-papierow-10x21-cm-/822and chose the most beautiful yellow grid paper.

My 2,5 year old son recently managed to ride a bike and this important moment needed to be documented. I found the biggest stamp from the „You got this“stamp set totally perfect for my title. I thought I would stamp it on a punched white cardstock circle and back it with one of the patterned papers. However, as you can see, I couldn’t stop adding all those beautiful patterned papers and created a pretty bulky and textured title in the end. Under the circles I used a floral wreath that I fussy cut from one of the cards from the Cards patterned paper https://www.shop.studioforty.pl/pl/p/DAYDREAM-diamondscards-scrapbook-paper-/828.

Since we live in the middle of vineyards and there is a lot of green on my photo, the green floral papers again went perfectly with my photo. I used two different patterned papers to back my photo, distressed them a little for some added texture.

On the left side I also wanted to add some pops of green so I used two stripes of leafy paper – one from the Daydream Paper Strips https://www.shop.studioforty.pl/pl/p/Paper-strips-Daydream-sticker-set-/817 and the other one cut from a paper with the same pattern.

I added two older clear stickers from the Good Vibes collection, stamped some cute little flowers and my TN spread was done.

As a bonus I created one more project. I am not a cardmaker at all but had a lot of scraps from my previous projects as well as my home made heat embossed patterned paper, so I decided to continue crafting. I cut a circle window in the card base and the Diamonds patterned paper https://www.shop.studioforty.pl/pl/p/DAYDREAM-diamondscards-scrapbook-paper-/828. I stamped a sentiment on a pink circle using one of the „You Got This“ stamps and backed it with a bigger circle cut of my own stamped paper.

I fussy cut some flowers and leaves from the floral TN paper, adhered them to the blue frame and added a bunch of sequins as a finish.
