Autumn layouts | Yukie Bessho

12x12 layout

***

Hello everyone!

Hello September!
SO, have you seen them???
Studio Forty has released beautiful new autumn/winter collections!!

Before sharing my projects with new collections,
I would like to show you some
Autumn layouts with my favorite collections from the past, today.

The first layout I have mainly used GAIA collection’s travel note pack.
TN paper packs can also make 12x12 layouts! This is a good example of that.
Do you call it a blocking layout still? I am not sure….
But it’s very simple and easy to make.

I wrote 'Hello Autumn 2016' by my hand on to the cut out from the journal card of the Travel note!

I did some 'pen stitches' and
used some stamps to show some accents for stitching, Also the subtitles. These stitch stamps are very very handy. Must buy if you have not.

Maybe the journaling was a little different, as you see I wrote in my language Japanese.  But surely it dies the same effect in any languages.
The gems I have cut out from the travel note paper and placed as if they are hanging, using  the same stitches stamp.

Used some pens for accents. But you need nothing so special.
Just one plain 12x12 cardstock or simple pattern paper, and the Travel Note pack!
Oops, do not forget the Studio Forty unique stamp set!

My second layout is from some collections in the past.
Lunare collection, CozyTime collection, and white card stock.
The enamel dots did great accent to the piece.
I also used 'Hello Beautiful' from the die cut pack.

So this is it for today.  I hope you liked both the projects.
Thank you for staying with me until the end.

Next time, I will see you with Studio Forty's latest collections!!
Bye for now!

Bom Dia & Cozy Time layouts | NenaScrap

chipboard stickers
Hi everybody,

It's NenaScrap with you today !
I hope you're safe and the winter is not too long.
For me, the rain, the wind, the cold, it's enough 😅. So I offer you some sunshine !

I love Bom Dia colors, they made me want to bring out some summer photos.

I tore 2 strips of paper that I glued at the bottom of my page. I've added 2 more small bands at the top of my page as a reminder.

I used the We'R Memory Keepers Tab Punch Board to create 3 tabs that I dragged behind my photo.

I used a lot of embellishments : chipboards stickers, 3D Dots, transparent stickers, fussy cut piece of papers, stamps.

For my 2nd layout, I mixed 2 printed papers, this time from the Cozy Time collection.

I placed all my elements along the horizontal line separating the 2 backgrounds papers.

I fussy cut some trees in the 12x12 paper and the heart in a PL card.
I used dies for the autumn leaves.

I made the ink stains on my background with Distress oxide.
I added some chipboards, 3D Dots, sequins and stamps as embellishments.

I hope that you'll like these 2 layouts and that, like me, you're impatient to discover the new collections that are coming very soon.

Take care of you. See you soon.

2021 first projects with Yukie

12x12 layout

Hello Everyone!

It's Yukie here, and I would love to wish you all a great year 2021.For my first project this year, let me share a mini album and a 12 inches layout with my very favorite collection; Cozytime. For a first try, I have added a short video of the mini album. Please have a look!

The mini book consists of two parts.
Left half is a stitched booklet. Sizes of the pages have variation. I thought that might make it look more flexible and fun.

The very first page with circle frame. Used cozy time transparent sticker on the right page.
I have drew a wreath for a page decoration. Stamped  'Treasured'  word in the centre.
Flip up page is always fun to open.
Long journal is good to write.
Word stickers are so easy to use and does a great job.
Pockets are so convenient. You can store the photos, tags, small memorabilia,
and also a tiny booklet like this one.
Tiny booklet with word sticker makes an artistic little card.

The  right side is an accordion (bellows) folding tag holder. Photos are adhered on the tags. Various ribbons on the tags are giving fun image on the album.

12x12 Layout, I also used Cozy time collection. These pink are just too cute to avoid. You never have enough of cozy time collection...
The dream catcher cut file sheet for dream catcher pattern paper.
Puffy stickers have found their places too.
Some circles are faux shaker boxes. Shaker boxes are so much fun. But if you use for a layout, the sparkling flakes and glitters usually stay at the bottom and no fun. SO I have sprinkled the confetti on the plastic sheet and adhered them. Looks like they are jumping in the shaker boxes, don't they?

To give a little bit of rough image on my layout, I did tearing technique. Stamped some Lunar collection stamps on the base paper.

Round font of the stamps are still cute, so i used orange brown stamp ink to match the taste.

Such a fun creation with cozy time.

Thank you for staying with me till the end. I hope you liked my projects. Stay healthy, keep on crafting, enjoy the little things in this difficult time. See you soon again !!

Note pages and mini year book in a hanging circle box / Yukie Bessho

camera

Hello there!  It's Yukie from Tokyo. How are you today?

Today I would like to share some note pages and an unique hanging box with very small mini year-book in it.

                                                             ***

So let's start with autumn note pages with Cozytime. It's rather odd to inform you first, but the photos are not from this year. That is why kids are playing together without masks!!

Pages are full of autumn colors, orange, beige, dark green, gray and brown.I have captured the coloring equipment in the picture. You might feel they are many, but I only did some very simple techniques, such as stencil, tracing, spattering, and I also just simply sprayed all over the page...Cut out threes from the 12 inches and Travel note pages, the camera, title also from TN pages.

You can see some words are from the famous Studio forty transparent stickers. They are absolute magic. You don't need to think how you write it. Just pick the phrase, and stick them anywhere you like.

Transparent stickers →Transparent So good! Transparent Cozy-home

On these pages, I used Studio Forty's beautiful hexagon stamps, They come in two different sizes and they did great job.

Hexagon stamps →Just Perfect Stamp set (Hexagon)

I added some very simple patterns by my handwriting. Such as tiny little circles, stars, dots, etc. You may also notice photos are decorated with the washi-tape like 'strip stickers'. They are very sweet and does a nice job making the pages colorful and adorable. ( also stable♡)

         Cozytime strip stickers →Strip stickers

The last pages I did most coloring spattering the water color. The quote of the pages is obviously the jam jars. Studio Forty jam jar stamps work great with outdoor photos, too. Memories are preserved in the little jam jars.
JamJar stamps → Homemade stampset (Jar)
To be very honest with you dear blog readers, I have hardly ever made any note pages, before. It was kind of scary to make pages so flat for a scrapbooker. But it worked so easy with lovely stamps and stickers. Simple coloring and journaling was also very fun.

I am going to place this notebook on the back of my lantern. ( if you are not sure of  my last post → Click here )

Now on to my unique work with Nordica collection.

See the little circle boxes? They size approximately φ3.5inches/φ9cm and 1.5inches/4cm high.

Boxes are made and decorated by all the Nordica collections. I made the little roses by cutting papers, and rolled them.

If you see the back side of the boxes, you see the twine going through. This twine works to help tie the ribbons properly, SO that you can hang the boxes on your favorite places, just like fireplaces, Christmas trees, or simply just on a wall or a door.

When you open the boxes, you will find tiny mini-books. They are bound by bellow folding and covered with plastic clear sheets which are sand-paper filed to pretend if they were the real smoky glasses :)

The mini book is actually a year book of 2020. I have adhered photos taken during the year though it was rather a tough year for photographing. Hmm, or maybe in a way, easier to pick the photos of the year. (because you don't have many)

Studio forty's stamps, label stickers and chipboard stickers help the mini year book  look super cute and meaningful! Such a tiny book, but has so much in it.

I have also made some small pockets for the tiny tags and letters and little trick to extend pages by brads, so that you can journal more to make the year book even more personal.

Thank you for being with me till the end. I hope you liked the works. Let's make something for fun to go through the rough time. See you next time!
