Hello crafty friends! Today i'm sharing with you a mini album made with the Just Chillin' collection.

With Winter starting in the next friday, December 21, i thought it was interesting to make a mini to document a fun family day from the begining of this year.


The cover was inspired by the theme "mosaics" and i cut several triangles and arranged them in a way they make a star figure. To make the star figure more proeminent i've stitched all around the papers. And put my title inside that shape.


To give a little fun touch i've added a few small pieces of ribbon to the binding rings.

So let's take a look at the inside pages:


My titlle was a little big so i've decided to break it apart and stamped vertically.




I've used a mixed of stamps, stickers and chipboard pieces to decorate the pages along the album.


Added a few of the 4x6 cards, they have the perfect size for this mini and it's a great way to add some journaling.

Also used some wood chips from the past Magic Fall collection, it gives a little dimension and texture.



I always like to play a little with layers, so i've decided to add a vellum sheet with clear stickers.



Using a 4x6 card as frame for the photo is another option. Who says journaling cards are just for pocket pages?
