Advent calendar in a basket | Thai N.

Hello dear friends,

As we are coming closer to the month of December, it is time to create a fun Advent calendar for my daughter. Just like me, she loves scrapbooking so I thought it would be great to make a calendar for her, filled with dies-cuts, stickers and other thin embellishments.

Here is what came out of my creative mind: a lovely DIY basket full of mini-envelops, 1 for each day of course.

I created this basket from a piece of kraft paper. I added a nice handle covered with gold glitter, with my Crop A Dile and 2 big eyelets. I decorated the basket with pieces of paper, stamps, chipboards, stickers and some rain drops.

I am sooo in love with the little customizable houses from the Cozy Houses stamps set. I have stamped a bunch of them side by side to create a little village that I glued to the front of my basket.

I used the papers from the Just Chillin' collection to create 25 mini-envelops from different sizes (I used a punch board to make them easily and quickly).

Then, I decorated them using the stamps from the new collection. The numbers stamps are perfect to add the date on each envelop. I colored some of the stamped images with alcohol markers, trying to use the same pastel colors as the Just Chillin' collection.

I hope you have enjoyed this project and happy crafting!
