Weekend in the Traveler's Notebook | Lisa

Hi there! I´m back today to share a fun layout that I made in my travelers notebook.

For this I used the TGIF stamp set for my project.

I chose a striped patterned paper from my stash and made my own pattern by repeating the stamp "weekend" over and over again. I made sure to stamp the first and last image with a little offset because I like when the stamp goes over the edge.

Here is an image of the pattern a bit into the stamping. I love how it turned out!

I created a journaling tag with plain white cardstock that was a leftover from a different project. I like to save the bits and pieces of white cardstock that get trimmed down. I use them as scrap paper to make notes, try out stamps and for making tags. I then used my typewriter to add my journaling all about how much I love the weekends!

As an embellishment I made this heart by cutting the shape out of two different patterned papers. I just glued them together. I also added a strip of the same striped paper I used on my right side to the left side to tied the two pages together along with some washi tape.

Here is a view of the finished layout again.

I also have two more pages from my Traveler Notebook, which I made using Studio Forty stamps, hope you will find them inspiring.

And with that I wish you all a great weekend! Lisa
