clear stamps Hello there, Sanna here again and it´s my turn to share a layout with you today. Are there any coffee lovers out there amongst you? Well, I need to confess that I tend to drink quite a lot of coffee and I just love the smell of freshly brewed coffee. The coffee themed stamp set in the shop is super cute, so I used that stamp set as my starting point for this page:

I´ve used various Studio Forty clear stamp sets on this layout for various reasons. I like owls - and I am a night owl - so I figured it would be a perfect match for this page to use some owls with the coffee theme. I stay up late and then I am sleep deprived and then I need coffee to wake up and to keep me going... see where I am going with this? So, basically that is what this page is about. Coffee keeps me going ;-)

I´ve used spray inks to color the fussy cut, stamped images. I first stamped them onto white cardstock with a waterproof black ink, then I colored the images with matching spray ink tones.

I added a layer of spray ink onto the background using a piece of plastic as my transfer medium for the ink. This technique creates a nice random pattern, but much bigger color areas than if I would just add the colour as direct splatters from the bottle onto the page. And this way I have more control of where the colour is supposed to go.

I first stamped the owls and all other images with black ink onto a thicker paper that absorbs spray inks well, then I used a fine paint brush to color the images with the spray inks. The owls add a fun detail to the page.

Also fussy cutting the stamped images adds more interest and texture to the layout than just directly stamping onto the background paper. Besides, this way you have more control of your images and should one of them turn out poor, you can simply toss that one and stamp a new one and your page will not be ruined by a poorly stamped image.

I´ve again added a date stamp onto the page just to document when this layout was created and what kind of ideas and thoughts had been going thru my mind on that day. So this layout is abit like everyday diary keeping.

Dzień dobry! Grudniowy czas jest tuż, tuż, zaczęliście już przygotowania?

Trzeba przyznać, że oczekiwanie, tworzenie dzień po dniu świątecznego nastroju

jest najprzyjemniejszą częścią grudnia. Taką, do której chce się wracać.

Zrobiłam album, który nie będzie typowym grudniownikiem,

choć wykonałam go na materiałach z kitu. Bazą jest notes podróżnika.

W albumie chciałabym umieścić zdjęcia i opisy tego, co jest dla mnie ważne,

a do czego przyjemnie będzie zaglądać jeszcze długo potem :)

Do wykonania albumu użyłam produktów, jakie znalazły się w kitach

(wersja polska). Znajdziecie tu przede wszystkim piękne, zimowe stemple,

naklejki oraz dodatki drewniane i w kolorze złota.

coffee break Hello everyone,

its me again.
And today i want to show you my newest layout - made with the super cute "coffee break" stamp set.
Look at this tiny coffee bean....!

There is not much to say about the "How To".
Again i decided on a 9x12 inch page which i covered with the great Moonchild papers (Moonchild No. 01 and Moonchild No.03).

Than i added a paperbag.

Hej! Tu Bligu :)

Przybywam dziś do Was z albumem, który powstał z grudniownikowego kitu S40 (w wersji angielskiej).

Kitów już niestety nie ma, ale wszystko co w nich było możecie wciąż zakupić w sklepie Studio Forty.

Jak zapewne wiecie, w listopadzie pojawi się cała seria inspiracji z wykorzystaniem materiałów ze wspomnianych kitów.

Mój album jest bardziej zimowy - świąteczny klimat postaram się wyczarować przy kolejnej publikacji. Dzisiaj natomiast zaproszę Was na zimowy spacer, który miał miejsce rok temu. Zdjęciami zajęłam połowę stron (które wyjątkowo dobrze znoszą mazianie mediowymi produktami!). Pozostała część albumu przeznaczona jest na pierwszą tegoroczną zimowo-śnieżną eskapadę.

Myślę, że niezłą frajdą będzie móc porównać zdjęcia swoje (a szczególnie dzieci!)

wykonane w podobnych okolicznościach, ale w rocznym odstępie :)

Ręka w rękawiczce, telefon wyślizgujący się z dłoni, niezdyscyplinowani modele
i w efekcie jedyne wspólne zdjęcie wychodzi lekko nieostre ;) Cóż, przynajmniej było wesoło...
Przypadkowo (a może i nie...) wyłonił się podział na jasną i ciemną stronę mocy ;)
Dostosowałam do tego stemplowane śnieżynki, które po tej "lepszej" stronie dodatkowo zaembossowałam.
