Two Summer Layouts | Guest Designer - Katarina

12x12 layout
Hi crafty friends

How has been your summer? It’s slowly but surely coming to an end, however, I have prepared two summer layouts from the Beautiful Life collection.

Confetti Layout and Card ⎪ Vânia Fonseca

12x12 layout Hello crafters! First of all let me wish you a Happy New Year!

Today i'm sharing a layout and a card with the theme "confetti". In both projects i'm using little bits from two diffefent collections, the Magic Fall and the Just Chillin' they mixed so well toghether!

So first let's take a look at the layout, in this one i combined a couple of different cut files, all free, two from the Silhouette Store and one from Paper Isssues.

I made a little bit of mixed media using paints that match the color scheme of the papers i've decided to use in this page. The colors also help the tittle of the page to stand out.

Now that i look at this page i really think "crazy" would have been a better page title, just saying...😂

I made a frame for the photo, using thread to filled all around and give it a cozy look.

Stamped several shapes in pink and purple from the Snuggle stamp set and add some chipboard pieces.

Let's look at the card, i made this one using one of the 3x4 cards from the paper with the cut out cards in the Magic Fall collection.

I've cut the same card two times, one for the front and the other one to close my shaker and give it the "moon" background.

I've also decided to add a stamped message in the inside of the card, the Magic stamp set it's perfect for that, because it have a lot of words that we can combine to express what we want to say. We can use it not only for memory keeping but also for cardmaking.

I've hoped you found some inspiration here, wish you all a great weekend and leave you the links to all the materials that i'm using below:

LO "Fall Memories" and "Hello" card | Vânia Fonseca

card Hello there! It´s Vania here, today i´m sharing two different projects, a layout and a card.

In both projects i´m using the Magic Fall collection, so let me share the layout first.

In this one i´m using a free cut file from Paper Issues, you can download this cute file here. It´s a big and bold leave, that i cut with my Silhouette Cameo. I choose one of the pattern papers from the collection and then backed with a different pattern.

With my leave ready it´s time to make my background, so i grabbed some distress oxide and voilá, i´m using this two diferent colors, that match the colors on the leave pattern that i choose to backed my cut file.

When it dried i stamped a couple of mushrooms, the trunk and add some stickers following the leave shape.
Also add the wood word "memories" to my page title.

To create more interest and make my photo stand out i backed it with diferent patterned paper and embellish one of the corners with wood shapes and chipboard pieces.

For my second project i made a card with the Fairy Tales stamp set. It´s been a while since the last time that i made a card, but who can resist to play with this little mushroom houses?

Again i´ve started with my distress ink. I´m using three different colors to add more contrast to my grass. Run it through my die cut machine and then sprinkle a few drops of water to remove the paint in some places.

Stamped the little mushroom houses with memento ink so i can have some fun with my copic markers.

With my coloring done it´s time to cut  the mushroom houses and add them to the little scenery,  creating a little bit of dimension and stamped a simple "hello" from the Magic stamp set.

Thanks for watching! Below are the links to all the products that i use in both projects.
