Lunare Traveler´s notebook | Vânia Fonseca

journaling Hello crafty friends! Vânia here and today i´m sharing some inspiration in Traveler´s notebook using Lunare. I´m also sharing some ideas on how you can use PL cards in your TN spreads.

First let me show you how i decoarate the cover of my Journey notebook,  using just a clear sticker with an inspiring quote.

Tip - I´ve start by fussy cut different images from the 12x12 patterned papers. That way i´ve got my own ephemera pieces ready and i can just create my pages.

Let´s take a look at my first spread! The patterned paper full of planets was what inspiring me to create this fun page, with my own galaxy, mixing fussy cut images and stamped ones.

Tip - My first idea, on how you can use a 3x4 PL card is making a frame for your picture, that´s what i did in this first page. You just have to trim a square inside your card using a ruler and a cutter and voilá!

I´ve stamped my tittle, alpha stamps are always a basic that you can use again and again.

Another way of usin a PL card it´s to mat your photo, quick and simple, that´s what i did in this second page. I also fussy cut one of the quotes from one of the cards and use it as the tittle of this page.

Made two different embellisment clusters on this spread, one on the top right corner and the othe one on the bottom left.

Also used a couple of the small stamps together to create a small border in both sides.

For my third spread i cut out one of the 6x4 PL cards and use two stipes as if it was a regular patterned paper.

I also made a little pocket where you can store 3x4 PL Cards with more photos or hidden journaling.

To finish my page i always like to add some ink splatters.

And that´s all for today, i´ve hoped you enjoyed my tips on how you can use your PL cards in to your TN spreads! Thanks for passing by!

MemoryDex Cards with Gaia | Vânia Fonseca

memory kepping Hello crafty friends! Vânia here and today i´m sharing some inspiration with the Gaia collection.

Memorydex cards are perfect when you want use your scraps or when you want to make something but you don´t have a lot of time to scrap. So that´s what we are making here today!

First i´ve start by stamping some flowers and leafs, i think they´re perfect for any season and almost any kind project.

I always like to add different layers and volume on my projects, in this card i stick the flower using some foam dots, that way the flower popped up from the leafs.

For this one i made a little envelope and put a little stamped reminder inside. Also use the little heart chipboard sticker to decorate the envelope.

To finish the cards i add a little dots of color in withe and beige, i think it always give a more finished touch.

And that´s all for today, quick and simple! I´ve hope you find some inspiration to go grab your Gaia scraps and give the Memorydex cards a try! Please tag me on the Social media if you do i would love to see your makings!

I cut some paper stars and stamped several stripes to hang some of them, also mixed some stamped snowflakes, clear stickers and chipboard stickers as a part of the background. Using black and grey ink.

Stamped the tittle using the Winter Alpha stamp set. And layered my photo using several patterned papers scraps.

And that´s all for today, wish you all a Happy New Year, may 2020 bring everything you wished for!

Winter is Coming Layout | Vânia Fonseca

12x12 layout Hello Crafty friends! Vânia here with you today sharing some inspiration using the Joyful and Gaia collections.

I made this mixed media layout, and when you use any kind of wet medium in your page it´s always a great idea to put some gesso first. It acts like a primer and prepare your page. So that´s what i did first.

I then mixed different shades of blue, applying one at a time in my background. While i´m waiting for everything to dry i backed the cut file, that are from The Cut Shoppe and it´s free, using different patterned papers from the Joyful and the Gaia collections.

Add different layers of paper behind the photo and a little sticker, kepping everything simple.

When everything was dry i stamped some snowflakes and part of the tittle. Also adhere some clear stickers and finished with some ink splatters.

That´s all for today, thank you so much for passing by!

TN inspiration | Vânia Fonseca

crafts Hello crafty friends! Vânia here with some Traveler´s Notebook inspiration.

I´m using mainly the GAIA collection, but i´m also using two of the new stamp sets from JOYFUL. Because, they´re so versatile, that in my opinion, can be used in any occasion.

Finally here where i live, south of Portugal, starts to feel like fall, yay!! The colder days are definitely coming. So i was inspired to create two "fallish" TN pages.

The notebook that i´m currently using it´s almost full and that makes stamping a little bit difficult, so instead of stamping directly on the notebook i make my pages and then adhere them to my notebook.

My first page it´s about tastes of fall and pomegranate it´s definitely a fruit typical of this season.

In my first spread i made my own background, using black and two different shades of brown ink for stamping the leaves "flying" around.

I made a border around the tittle and add the squirrel sticker, i think it gives a little fun touch.

For both of this pages i used images that i fussy cut, it´s a great idea, because you can make your one die-cuts and have a lot of them to decorate your pages and mixed them with stamped ones.

I also use some of the chipboard pieces, because they add a little volume but not to much and that it´s something we have to consider when we are working in the TN format.

For finish my pages i always like to add some ink splatters, this time i used gold ink for doing that.

And that´s all for today!
