Mother's Day⎪Heidi Ma.
Hi, this is my first post for Studio Forty, and I would like to say hello and introduce myself:
I’m Heidi from Germany. I love to be creative, it relaxes me and makes me happy - and as I started with scrapbooking several years ago I knew: this is it!
After a lot of 12“x12“ layouts I decided to test working in Traveler’s Notebooks in 2017 and I’m addicted since then! It’s such an easy and light way of keeping memories. I tried to keep the record of nearly each month and documented our vacations and special days… You see: There are so many possibilities!
In comparison with 12”x12” I like how stamps or embellishments come out in the size of notebooks. And you don’t need much to fill a page!
With the wonderful LET'S GO -Notebook edition of Studio Forty it’s especially fun to work with - here we are:
The papers fit perfectly to one page. I like to have white space, so I usually take only one patterned paper.
I added a photo on the patterned paper side…
… and a little bit of layering. I love to use tags or labels on my projects and this tag under the photo is cutted out from the GOOD-VIBES-paper pad.
For a little structure I used a stapler (with mini staples) and foam pads to attach the cut outs.
For the other side I need to have an eye-catcher. This could be a sticker or - just perfect - the little wooden chipboards from Studio Forty! Oh, I love them! This one is colored with watercolor (colors that fit to the paper and the photo).
To feature it, I set the green color below with a stamp from the "Sunshine" - stamp set.
On top I made a title with the alphabet stamps "Lucie".
If you wonder about the little „u“ and the little „r“: I took the little „n“ and turned it around for the „u“. For the „r“ I masked a part of the „n“ with washi tape, put color on it and removed the tape bevor stamping.
At least I wrote my journaling with an old typewriter (bought it on a flea market) and stick it onto the page.
Ups – I forgot the date in my text! The little label at the bottom of the page makes it complete!
Hope you like the result!
See you soon,
Heidi
