Girl's Notebook and Planner Pages | Monika Pestrová

big happy planner
Hello everyone! How are you doing! Hope you're healthy and save. Our whole family went through Covid-19 so we have just finished the two-weeks isolation. And as we were not allowed to go anywhere outside I have only a few photos from last couple of weeks. So .. with the new georgeous JOURNAL STORIES collection I decided to scrap a few older memories.

Firstly there are two pages in my "girl's notebook" where I keep all my memories connected to my best scrap friends. I enjoy working on notebooks so much. Each page if from a different ocasion.

For my first page I covered the entire page with green dotted paper (using the 6x8 paper pads and it's made from two parts) and than I used a paper from the notebook edition. Next I added some die cuts, photos, a few stickers and 3D round shape and it was done.

For my second page I only used circles and I was surprised how lovely that looks. I added some stitching to the circles and some velum die cuts around them. The page realy seemed a bit empty, so I decided to add triangle corners too.

And for my second project I did another Planner Page. Just a few memories before Covid. That week was freezing in Prague so we went outside for some slading and skating. It was fun and kids loved it.

And although JOURNAL STORIES is not a winter collection at all - everything matches perfectly and looks great to me.

I hope you all are expiriencing some fun during these crazy days and JOURNAL STORIES collection is a great choise for your everyday scrapbooking. Take care!

HELLO Layout

Good morning! Today I have a pretty layout I created using the So Romantic Collection. I love the pastel color scheme! It's so pretty and delightful!

Studio Forty's So Romantic Collection REALLY caught my eye. It's filled with beautiful pastel patterned papers and embellishments. It's truly beautiful and it's not just for scrapbooking "romance." I used it to create this fun layout of me and my mom.

I used a few journaling cards to create a fun grid-design layout. I love journaling cards and I had fun with them! The journaling card that says "Enjoy every moment" was originally white. I colored in the sentiment using a light blue marker. Then, stamped "Hello Today" with black ink under the pink "hello". Stamps are such a great way of filling in white space.

I cut the chevron from a scrap piece of paper to use as a geometric heart and popped it up using a foam square. I stamped the little speech bubble at the top right-side of the card and colored in the heart using a pink marker.

I used a black pen and a ruler to create the black border around the layout with some faux stitching at the corners.

To complete the layout, I added a few chipboard embellishments, and stickers. I cut out the balloons and flower from a journaling card.  I stamped the camera in the journaling block and colored it in using markers. Notice the black roses...that is a clear sticker! I love how it looks on this layout at the bottom of the journaling card. Super pretty.

What do you think? It's so pretty, isn't it? I added a few strips of patterned paper at the top and bottom of the layout because the layout looked like it was missing something... I think it worked!

For my second project, I created a card using the patterned papers and stickers from the Don't Grow Up Collection. I simply folded the travel notebook paper in half and then cut it down to 3x4. I tore a strip of the sticker strip and added the sticker sentiment. Then I added the sticker dots from the Cozy Time Collection at the bottom and glued down some rhinestones.

For the inside, I added a tag from my stash and the cork heart. :) I left the tag blank for now until I decide who to give it to!

Thank you so much for visiting today!

2 layouts with Love/Andrea Gellai

12x12 layout

Hello Studioforty friends!

Today I’d like to show you my two new pages. For both of them I used photos cut to a shape.

I used the Let’s Party collection for the first layout. I cut the white paper to a smaller size, put a colored one behind it created a border this way. I placed watercolored splodges for the background and stamped some fireworks.

After these I cut the ”Love” label with my Silhouette Cameo and placed it on the page vertically. I used one of the patterned papers to cut the background for the letters. Then I decorated the layout with stickers, fussy cuttings, transparent stickers and chipboards.

On the photo It’s me with my friends, the shot was taken on a very happy day.

The second layout was made with the Don’t Grow Up collection. The background is also watercolored.

I cut little envelopes, some cute animal illustrations, a bow and arranged all of these around the photo. Then I decorated the page with some fussy cuts and 3D stickers.

This is my first layout about my nephew, Vince. He was born last christmas and he is so much adorable!

Thanks for stopping by here today and happy crafting!

12x12 layout

Hey there friends! How are you? Hope you all are safe and healthy in this so particular time of our lives. Happy Spring! Yeah! Winter is over and I'm enjoying the last cold and the first warm sunti days.
Today I share with you all  my love for the layouts, lately I'm feeling more creative and I want to experiment and to try new designs and new ways to create a page. My obsession is the white background in many of them, I know it can be borino but I think that the white background is perfect to show all the colors of papers and embellishments and to try watercolors and mixed media effects.

It works better to  me simply :)

I have created two 12x12 pages using the two newest collection from Studio Forty, Let's Party and Don't grow up. I love them to pices! They are very beautiful, one colorful and happy and the other one so soft and dreamy, poetic.

For the "Make a wish" page I have cut a lot of stars in 4 different dimensioni and I have overlapped them sticking them one to another. I have created 9 groups of stars and with them a big circle sewing them to the background in a real circle.

Then I added the picture in black and white color because it gives a good contrast into the page. The photo is sticked to the page with the 3d foam tape to give it more emphasis. In the end I played with all the different embellishments from the collection, from the chipboards to the clear stickers, the die cut, the travel notebook papers,  the puffy little stickers and the beautiful stamps.

I have loved loved so much to celebrate this memory with this page! It's one of my treasures.

For the second page "You" instead the style is a little different. I have created a watercolor background with two different shadows of yellow, I spreaded some white acrylic ink drops and some black ink drops here and there. I matted the picture with different scarpe from the Never grow up collection and a little piece of tissue paper.

I had a lot of fun creating this page and playing with the beautiful stamps. With them I created that lovely banner on watercolor paper and I colored it in the same shadow of the little fox. Then I have just played with the tone on tone tecnique using the yellow ink to stamp some bows and stars.
A cluster of some die cuts and different embellishments from the same Don't grow up collection :)

Some details shots above:

Hope you like the pages and will be inspired to create yours playing with these fabulous supplies!

Love, Lory
