Celebration Snail Mail / Andrea Gellai

Andrea Gellai

Hello Studioforty friends!

Today I’d like to show you a little Snail Mail that I created for my scrappy friend’s birthday. We got to know each other at a scrapbook workshop six years ago, ever since I send her a scrapbook for her birthdays, and she sends one for mine.

I used Lazy Days collection for the flipbook. I started with cutting a 12 inch patterned paper. I tried to use all of the material, so I decided to create the pockets from the 12 inch paper from itself without separating it from the base. After that I used my Sizzix to cut the tags from PL cards.

I stamped the tags with positive messages that hopefully will cheer her up whenever she gets to read them.

I created an envelop that hides my personal letter to her. I decorated the book with color stickers, chipboard frames and word stickers.

Finally I cut a stripe from another patterned paper which is used for holding the book closed.

The idea came from Liz The Paper Project, you can watch it here.

Thanks for stopping by here today and happy crafting!

Bom Dia Snail Mail | Isa

Bom Dia

Hello everyone!

It's Isa here today on the blog. First of all I wish that you are all safe and healthy and that you have spent a wonderful summer. As a farewell of "my summer" I have decided to create an original snail mail with the Bom Dia collection.

First of all, what I have done is to cut with my Silhouette Cameo a shell. I have used one of the papers of the Bom dia Collection for it. I have used some flaps to join the two parts of the shell, so it looks like a pocket to insert all the envelopes with everything I have prepared for my penpal.

For the cover of the snail mail in the shell I have used decorations I have cut from the Project Life cards from the Bom Dia collection and I have used some chipboard stickers to add more decorations. I also have glued all the motives with different volumes so it looks funnier.

On the inside of the shell, there are several envelopes. To make this envelopes I have used a template of small envelopes. Inside the envelopes there are die cuts I made with the stamps set of the Bom Dia collection, a letter, some tags, project life cards and some chipboard stickers.

I have also included a shaker card I made with a plastic folder from a Project Life material that I had at home. Inside the shaker I have added beads and sequins of the colors of the motives of the Bom Dia collection.

And as a final detail I have included a small notebook of the Bom Dia collection. Notebooks are always a great detail to send with snail mails.

And as you can see, everything fits and combines perfectly well with the shell. It is a very simple project but the results are very beautiful and any person of any scrapbook level can do it.

I hope you liked it!! I love preparing snail mails because I think that they are special details for special people! I hope to see you soon on the blog with new inspirations with the new wonderful Studio Forty collections that are about to come!! See you!

Isa

Snail Mail with Super You | Isa

clear stamps
Hello everyone!!
It's Isa today on the blog and I am glad to present you a new project with a collection from Studio 40! This time I have decided to create a nice snail mail using the Super You collection.

I have made a kind of folder and I may add that in this project I have not used tape to join all the parts of the snail mail, I have sewed them. I love sewing in my scrapbook projects and I could not resist this time on doing it. I have used some elastic to close the snail mail emulating a real folder.

For the cover I have used the st of stamps and also the stickers to decorate it. On the inside there is like a flipbook with all the things I have prepared for my penpal as well as some decorations on it.

I have mostly used one of the set of stamps from Super You to make the little details that I have added for my penapal. I have stamped words and the drawings of the super heroes which I think are awesome.

I have added also some stationery material and I have decorated the packaging with stripes of paper from the collection and stickers.

I sewed also parts of paper so to make a pocket and inside this pocket I put the project life cards that you can find in one of the papers of the Super You collection.

As you can see I have made tons of die cuts with the stamps. I think that is something that it is creat at the time of creating decorations for our projects.

There is also an extra pocket for adding a letter to my penpal and an envelope that I made with a template.

Inside the envelope I have put an altered notebook which I have decorated with papers and embellishments from the Super You collection.

As you can see it is quite simple to create a snail mail full of details thanks to a set of stamps.

Even in the cover I have used the stamp to make the super heroine!

I hope you like it and I hope you will like all the new things that have to come on Studio 40!! Soon I will giveaway this snail mail on my Instagram so stay tunned!! Lots of kisses,
Isa
