Hello everyone! How are you?
Who is part of the December Daily team in January? Put your hands up! I'm doing it constantly and I can' t wait to see it complete.
What I love most about this kind of project is the opportunity to use many different things and tell my everyday stories of magic! December is pure magic, don't you find?
This year I have decorate the tree and the home in late argh, time flies and sometimes is hard to keep everything updated.
I have decided to chose one story for one day in this way I can go on with my album quickly.
On the right side I have used a 4x6 pocket page and I have created the first card with the words stamps , the
Fun and Cozy stamp set, above the background I added a die cut from the
Frosty Season collection. A black and white photo with a little journaling about the story of that day, December 8th. Directly on the photos I usually add some words like I did with the
Herbarium Collection, stickers and die cut are perfect for this.
Just some drops of black ink here and there.
For the right page I have used 2 beautiful journaling cards from the past collections. I have written my journaling with my computer and just added some little phrases with
stamps.
To finish my spread about this day I have used the start from the
December Memories kit, it's made of cardboard so perfect to punch or to write on. I have cut two eight with a die in the same cardboard of the star and on the back I have written my journaling added a
phrase stamp in the center.
Love love love how this spread turned out and I am so excited to keep going with my December Daily album. And you? Did you finish it or are you doing it? Feel free to share with us your creations. Have a wonderful new year everyone!
Love, Lory
December Daily
Good morning friends! I'm back with another layout and card I created for the holidays! The Frosty Season Collection is such a great collection and I really enjoyed using this collection for my December Daily this year. Just recently, my sister took Henry out to look for the perfect tree. The look on his face is pure joy!
I cut a few giant snowflakes from patterned paper using my metal dies and Sizzix machine. Then I added the chipboard pieces.
I stamped the bow from the Holiday cheer stamp set onto white cardstock and then colored it in using a red alcohol marker. Then I fussy cut the image very carefully and glued it to the corner of the chipboard frame.
I used a variety of
stamps and markers to create the holly branch, snowflakes and birdie at the top! Seriously, I just love how this turned out...it's so pretty. I glued the tiny blue gems to add a little sparkle to the snowflakes.
Here is another book marker I created using metal dies and
stamps and markers.
I'm thinking this year...for my special friends...I'm going to make cards. His a simple card I created using a few
stamps and markers. I love the simplicity of this card!
I think the next time I make this card, I'm going to stamp the Merry Christmas in red and green ink to make it pop a little more.
As you can see... this was super simple to make. This card is about 3 1/2x4. I love working on a smaller surface for cards.
What do you think? Are you ready to make something with this beautiful collection and start using stamps on your projects. Thank you so much for visiting today and Happy Holidays!
December Daily
Hello friends! It's Jen today with a spread from my 2020 December album, which I have working on finishing for the past month or so. Last Christmas was not as I had hoped due to the pandemic, and I have been slow to get the album finished. With only a few more stories to record, I am using the Studio Forty Frosty Season Collection to get it done.
To begin, I stamped snowflakes onto patterned paper with the Holiday Cheer Stamp Set and created a title using stamps and die cuts from my stash.
On the following page, I used more patterned papers to create a flip-up to hold several photos. I kept the embellishments simple using
Oh What Fun Stickers and
die cuts.
Last year was the first time we'd had a white Christmas in many years, and I spent quite a bit of time outside with our dogs that afternoon. My kids are all big now and don't like having their picture taken, so I'm left with the pups.
We had quite a good time playing outside in the snow!
Who can resist that cute face?!
Thank you for stopping by today, and I hope you've been inspired to finish your holiday projects! Remember, when shopping the Studio Forty Site, use code JENNIFER10 at checkout to receive 10 percent off of your order. Have a great day!
december memories 2021
Happy Holidays, friends! I spent some time preparing my book for December memory keeping using the Frosty Season Collection. Normally, I do not document the holidays. It's not my strong suit. However, I thought I'd give it a try this year! I sat down and jotted some things down that I want to document throughout the month. Feel free to use this as inspiration for your memory keeping!
My first page includes one of my most favorite holiday photo. We went on a cruise for Christmas in 2019 before Covid-19 happened. We had such a great time together...just the three of us.
I stamped the bow image onto plain cardstock in red ink and then fussy cut it to use as an embellishment over the holly and bell. I just love this cluster of embellishments. It's super adorable!
I really love that shade of red ink with the black lining.

For the inside of the book itself, I added the clear wreath sticker and then glued down the green rhinestones and added the red heart from my stash. I added another stamped bow onto one of the presents below the adorable picture of my son wearing his blanket sweater. He was so excited when he opened his gifts. I printed an image of the "A Christmas Story" poster to use inside my book. Love it. :)
I created a fun bookmark using a few metal dies and patterned paper. I haven't figured out how I am going to put it in the book...maybe I'll just tuck it between two pages.
For the "December" journaling card, I used a dark green marker to trace over the initial pink color... I love the card and really wanted to use it...just not in pink.
I used a few journaling cards to create this fun spread horizontally! Love this with the layers... so fun and festive.
I layered some dies and chipboard over the ornaments to add dimension and some shimmer. LOVE IT.
I almost forgot. I added some stamps on a piece of paper to add to the side of the book. This is a great way to add descriptions to your albums so you know what's inside the album.
I hope you've found this post inspiring. Who knows, maybe you'll start your album, too! Thank you so much for visiting today.

KIT oprócz bazy zawiera również mnóstwo dodatków - zestawy stempli, enamel dotsy, chipboardy, naklejki, dwustronne karty, papiery scrapowe i jednobarwne i... wiele wiele innych!
Mam nadzieję, że choć trochę Was zainspirowałam do stworzenia własnych mini albumów i poczuliście tę magię nadchodzących Świąt. Koniecznie chwalcie się swoimi pracami, oznaczajcie Studio Forty a my będziemy wszystko z ogromną przyjemnością oglądały :)
Trzymajcie się ciepło i zdrowo.
Åšciskam!
