Yes! Summer! Mini album / Irina Honcharik

album
Hello Studio Forty friends! Irina is here.

Today I will show not just an album. This is an anti-stress album. Now many of us experience stress. To relieve stress I use creativity. And as a result I have a new album!

It is in an unusual format - horizontal! Its size is 10 * 21 cm. This is the size of travel sets of paper! And it is very convenient!

I used a paper from different collections. Mostly here are summer collections.

I suggest first to watch the video where I am leafing through the album!

So, I took out all the stamp sets of Studio Forty that I have, ahd  black and color ink. Added to them watercolor, gouache and oil pastel! And then - relaxation! In this album each spread is different in color!

The first is green!
I made a grid that mimics comics. In the cells I wrote text about the photo, and also added stickers and made stamps.

The second is blue!
I really like the reception when I cut out the photo! Here I made an oval! I highlighted it with stickers and stamps, added oil pastel.

The third is pink! Cheerful and romantic turn. Transparent stickers and words are my favorites!

The fourth is yellow! Here I used a lot of frames! I adore  this frames and it make such a sweet atmosphere!

The fifth is blue-green! Here I cut a circle from a photograph. This is a great way to remove the background!

And finish again with yellow! I cut lemons from the summer collection! It seems to me that it was very fun and bright!

And of course I'll show you the details!

I urge you, friends, to relieve stress by creativity! Take care of yourself!

See you very soon and thanks for reading!

Album "Hello Autumn" | Isa

album Hey everyone!!

It's Isa here. It is great to be back at the Studio Forty blog. Today I am thrilled to show you a new project that I have created with the new Gaia collection and some Be Eco stickers. I have to confess that autumn is my favourite season of all so I was pleased to create the album for today's post.

As base of the album I have used a cut file with my silhouette cameo. I have cut some tree trunks inside in white and also the shape with the papers of the Gaia collection as background of the pages. I have used mainly the paper with the cork pattern that has on the reverse some natural images of stones, leaves and so. I just think they are amazing.

To give some details to each page I have used the sewing machine to sew all the borders of each page. For this album I have a confession to make. I have used some pinterest images that I found of autumn photoshoots that I like. I did that in the summer when I was preparing my album for my workshop in Barcelona and I think that sometimes using professional pictures that you find on the internet make an album appealing and beautiful. It is not that I do not want to add pictures of myself, the problem is that here in Spain it is still summer and I am still with my flip flops on, so it is a bit difficult to get autumn pictures hehehhe.

For the pages I have decorated with pictures the pages with the tree trunk lines and on the reverse I have used some transparent stickers and details from the Project Life cards that we can find in one of the papers of the collection.

As an extra page I added a card cut from the paper that has come project life cards and I have also made a tag using the stamps of the collection. I have colored it with some Tombow Dual Tip pens.

I have put the pages together with a ring and in the ring I have added some ribbons and embellishments in the tones of the papers of the collection to add extra addons. In the cover I have used some foam alphabet and a chipboard from the Gaia collection.

I really liked working in this project, it is quite clean and simple but the result is quite beautiful as the Gaia collecton which is amazing in every single detail.

I hope you liked it and if you have any question regarding the project do not hesitate to ask me in the comments section below.

See you soon around here! Lots of love,
Isa
