12x12 layout
Hello Friends, another blog post is here. Today, I present a layout featuring the summer collection. For the base, I used white paper, along with torn yellow and green papers to add some texture and dimension to the project's foundation.

The flower arrangement adds harmony to the project. I used foam tape to give the flowers more height and volume, I always enjoy using dots as they bring texture to the base.

In conclusion, this layout not only provides a vibrant and refreshing feeling but also incorporates elements like torn papers, elevated flowers with foam tape, and textured dots to give it depth and dimension. It's a perfect representation of the season's energy and colors. Stay tuned for more creative ideas in our upcoming blog posts. Thank you for following us on this crafting journey!

Stationary kit for the new school year | Piruletasdepapel

case
Hello Studio Forty friends! How are you? A new school year has already started, what a good excuse to make a stationary kit for a special person! ;) It's Nuria here today, wanna see what's coming up?

The kit contains a spiral notebook and a beautiful "case" for a pack of post it®. Let's start with the notebook: It is a DINA5 size gold rose spiral notebook made with the awesome Essentials Summer collection.

I chose a floral patterned paper combined with the yellow vichy one for the front cover. The vichy strip is one third the total width (a bit less). As the idea is to write on the notebook comfortably, there is no much chance for embellish with a lot of volume. Thus, I embellished the cover with a flat sticker "enjoy the journey" (sending best wishes) and an enamel dot. On the vichy strip I use a strap die as an ornament. The inside of the front cover has been decorated with several pockets and tags, using the same patterned papers.

The back cover is made with the vichy patterned paper and decorated with the same strap die as in the front cover.

The inside of the back cover has been decorated with two handmade vertical pockets using the vichy patterned paper and the white and black floral patterned paper.

Next, let's take a look at the "case" for post it®. The "case" size is 8x8cm for a 7,5x7,5cm post it® pack, but you can choose any size available. You have to make the "case" as it was a mini album: take cardboard for the cover, spine and back cover. Cover the different parts of the cardboard with patterned paper. I used the black and white floral patterned paper and combined it with the vichy yellow to have some consistency with the notebook.

Then completely cover the inside with patterned paper and glue the post it® packet to the inside of the back cover and... voilà!

I did not embellished the external part of the case because the flowers with the yellow and green splashes were enough for me, but mostly to keep it practical. I finalised it with a transparent sticker inside.

card | Jess Fernandes

card
Hello, everyone! It's with great excitement that I bring another amazing post to our blog. Today, I've prepared something special: the inspiration for 2 super cute cards you can create using the summer collection!

The circle cards were made using only punches and adhesive dots from the collection, creating layers with foam tape!

The blue card brought the simplicity of a card without losing its charm! I love having cards to gift to special people!

These cards are not just pieces of paper; they are little pieces of love and care. Having handmade cards on hand is a wonderful way to surprise and gift special people in our lives. I hope these inspirations have brought a smile to your face and that you feel inspired to create your own charming cards. Share love and make someone smile today!

Destructured Mini album | Piruletasdepapel

alphas stickers
Hello Studio Forty friends! How are you? It's Nuria here today sharing with you a new inspiration using the amazing Essentials Summer collection. Today we are going to create a destructured and funny minialbum. Let's get started!

The mini album is 9,5 x17,5 cm. It is inspired in triptics, so it is folded forming 3 parts. I used the beautiful vichy patterned paper for the cover. I cut a triangle part in the front cover to give more dynamism and options for decoration. An eyelet with white thread wrap the minialbum, some wooden charms at the end of the white thread make my day! ;) The central element is a die cut with the sentence "Here's the story" stamped on it. There are 3 repetitive clusters of embellishments with blue and yellow stamped leaves, die cut leaves and some enamels. There is also a tab in the diagonal part of the cover.

Once the mini album is opened, you can see a central part with the pages, that actually are forming part of the spine, and two lateral parts. Either lateral part has a mini pocket made with PL cards and embellished with a pink heart and 'making memories' transparent sticker.

The central part (spine) contains 4 pages in different sizes to create a cascade effect. I love how the embellishments pop up between the pages. I used the yellow alphas to form the word 'Summer' for the first page.

You can use die cuts, enamels and transparent stickers from the collection to decorate the pages. This time I adhere the stickers directly on patterned paper (and not on a white cardstock).

You can also stick transparent stickers on the pic, you can make the perfect combo (pic-sticker)! In the mini album, the 'churros' were 'delicious'.

You can use PL cards to embellish your pages or cut out the element you want from the PL card (i.e., 'enjoy') and use it as a die cut.

The last page is decorated with PL cards in the laterals and a vertical pocket was created on the base.
One final pic in which you can see the back cover and its embellishments: a colour sticker and an enamel shape.
