Hello Crafty Friends!
It’s Boga from
My first project is a 12x12 layout with some
morning pictures which were taken on the first official day of this fall. I
decided to focus on the gorgeous papers of the Herbarium
collection on this layout. I used the notebook papers plus the beautiful vellum
paper and cut 5, 3 and
I added some transparent
stickers here and there, too.
To give an extra dimension I placed 3D foam
tape under the fussy cut leaves and flowers.
I used the Note to
self stamp set to create my journaling above the pictures.
Although the morning came with dawn dew but I looove the sunrise principally when the sky is as splendid as in the captured photo.
For the second project I created a kind of DD
album (size is 4x6 inch) with removable pages and tags from the Frosty
Season Collection. I love preparing a DD but this year with a one-year-old
toddler I think it would be a bit more challenging to document each and every
day. That’s why I decided to have a best of December album for which I created
this album base. I was inspired by the album of one of my dear crafty friends.
The cover is a 4.5x6.5 inch cardboard covered with scrapbook paper, decorated with a pocket card and some fussy cutting leaves and flowers from the collection.
The backbone of the album is an accordion-like folded white scrapbook paper from which I made 3.25x4-inch-size pockets. I decorated them with pocket cards and various embellishments: paper die cuts, paper-strip stickers, transparent stickers, on some I splashed gold ink and/or used the Fun & Cozy stamp set.
The tags were cut from the notebook papers, their size is 2.75x5.5 inch. They will be perfect for my journaling.
To create the removable pages you need an 8x6-inch-size
paper folded in half. I used most of the 12x12
paper set to create the pages.
I already created the base for the pictures, I cut some frames and the extra pocket cards can also be used as photo background paper.
In case you know that your December days will be super intense, I encourage you to prepare this album base now, so you only need to insert the photos and the journaling at the end of each week. This way you will most definitely have a finished album by the end of December.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and
happy crafting!
