Hello and a TN | Lisa

Hello everyone!

I am so happy to be here! I´m Lisa and live in Sweden. I have a 17 year old daughter, my fiancé and three cats. We live on a small island where I also work as a kindergarden teacher. But my passion is memory keeping and to play with paper! I have been scrapbooking since my daughter was born and have been doing Project Life weekly for 5 years. I am so happy to be here and to play with Studio Forty´s beautiful and fun products!

This year I am thinking about doing my scrapbooking layouts in a traveler's notebook. I am drawn to the smaller format. So today, for my very first post I´ll be sharing the first few pages in my TN (that of course is from Studio Forty).

This is the first page. I wanted to use the large "go outside" stamp from the Explore set and I had the perfect photo that I took in the forest right before Christmas for it. I like the look of two page layouts, so I used the second page as a title page with only the big stamp. Then on the left page I used a scrap piece of paper for my journaling. I typed it with my typewriter and added that cute tree stamp from the same stamp set as an icon.

I was on a roll and made this double page right after the first one!

Here I have used the fun hexagon stamp in the Botanical set. I picked out a fun wintery patterned paper and just stamped several images with the stamp and then cut them out.

I used the hexagons to make a paper pieced patterned in two corners of the layout. I love how it turned out! For the journaling I again used my tyewriter and typed on one of the large tags and then added one of the round stickers from the Fall is here set that was in the perfect blue!

The last thing I added was the "enjoy today" transperent sticker which made for a great title.

Here is the third spread I did for this post. My fiancé has such a big heart and our kittys love him!

I went through my patterned paper scraps to use as my background paper on the left side.
One thing I often do to add some more texture is to use my sissors to rough up the edges around the paper.
As for the last spread I used the right page for my journaling. Haha again I used a tag and my typewriter! I promise I will use other techniques on other pages!

That "love this" sentiment stamp was the perfect stamp for this layout!

Thank you so much for reading my first post! If you have any questions, please let me know!

Lisa

Ps. I saw that there are some pretty new things in the shop ;)

  1. Beautiful pages! Simple but they've got everything they need - nothing more is necessary.
    I love them!
